How ever since my fursona became a Tazmanian Devi and I used her in a few rps, everyone has a frickin' Tazmanian Devil character. No people, I was trying to be unique and in every form I put "Please do not steal the desing, or idea. Meaning that you should not make a character of the same species just because I have one." and guess what. Now everyone has one. *Is not amused* i know a few people that had them before and I am not ranting about them, but really?

You can't copyright the species, to be honest. If someone feels like doing a Tazmanian Devil character you don't have the right to tell them not to. ono It could be that they've been inspired by you, but they could've had those characters already for ages and/or thought about this all by themselves. Also, Tazmanian Devils are quite common as roleplay characters and personas so you're not that unique if you have one anyway. ono
It would be the same if I'd suddenly be all like 'Oh no, someone has a Mutt'sona, just like I do! They must have stolen that idea!' ono That's just.. wrong. No offense though, I just wanted to point that out.

You're not allowed to keep a species all to yourself, you don't have The Tazmanian Devil copyrighted or anything.
I know it sucks when people think your species idea is so cool that they decide to make their own, but as long as they're not stealing things like names or exact designs from your characters...
Maybe you should be happy that they like the idea that much.

I understand that. But I have never seen another Taz on this site (Except for Vizard, who made my ref because she has one too.) until I made mine. I understand seeing one or two because peole remembered. I also completly get where your coming from, but sometimes I get a bit ticked. I am so irrational with my rants. But it makes me feel better. I know that I do not own the species, but I am just super protective. The species and the desing means a lot to me the last few days, so when I see another person with it I get a bit nippy.

Orenji's a Striped Skunk/Tasmanian Devil hybrid. But I rehomed her when I tried reducing the amount of characters I have.

For goodness sakes, people. Wolves aren't perfect little angels with halos above their heads.
They have killed animals, and on the rare occurrence- people. They will continue to do so.
They don't deserve to be worshipped- why not treat them the same as other predators? Coyotes? Bears? Foxes?

This so much. I like wolves, but I really think they're overrated. Why are they SO much better than all the other wild animals?

Oh god. This. Usually I don't have a problem with wolf addicts, but when they rub the "wolves are awesome, they can't kill us" idea, it gets really annoying. >.<

Personally, I think the siberian tiger doesn't even get as much attention as wolves, and gray wolves aren't even ENDANGERED.
I can understand the red wolf being endangered however, but usually when people say "wolf," they mean the gray wolf.

Aww! I would take her! I am thinking about just blocking my fursona off from the world. Just keep her locked up all to myself, just out of the fact I know people are going to be all "You are not like that. Your so sweet" and then I will be all like "Shut up, you don't know me like Lindsey, the one who helped me with my 'sona. So shut up." I think I will just kep her to me and Lindsey, maybe a few others. Sorry, I know I sound a bit harsh. I am just...having an awful week.
