Dear K,
When I think of all the things that we did together and all the things that I'm going to miss it overwhelms me.
Like when the teacher told us to line up in alphabetical order according to last name. Our last name had the same first three letters and so we went through the alphabet until we finally came to the one that was different, and even then it was different by only two letters. Every time I think of that I remember that we will never line up together like that again.
And just Saturday, the day you left, we were changing for our next dance and you asked me if I wanted glitter in my hair and on my face. You sprayed it all over my hair and put it behind my eyes. I looked so pretty at that moment, and it was all thanks to you.
And Saturday morning, you saw my leg was shaking a lot. No big deal to me, I'm always shaking. But you got really concerned and asked me if I was hungry. And then proceeded to give me almost your entire bag of goldfish, taking almost none for yourself so I could have more.
And for almost half the year you would always ask me to check that you were doing the correct arm movements. Right before the dance you asked me too. You were. You more definitely were <3
And just a few minutes ago, I found your parent's website. I immediately started looking for pictures of you. And then there you were, your smiling face on my screen. The same face that I will never see again. And you looking bored on your laptop.
OhGodwhy. I'm crying now. I miss you so much. I will only ever see you in pictures and my memories. I will never hear your voice again. I will never talk to you again. What I would give to hear you saying 'Oh, honey' to me again or asking me to check to make sure you were doing the right arm movements.
But that will never happen again.
I miss you. I hope you never forget that.
