I'm pretty sure you could do that, because you can 'wish' certain people/objects into your dreams if you are in conscious control.

Yeah you can do this if you wanted to. You can make people (or in this case, fictional characters) appear and do or say whatever you want. And turning yourself into a character is shape shifting, but I would like to warn you, shape shifting is usually very difficult and some people end up waking themselves up in the process, so practicing lucid dreaming by doing simpler tasks, such as flying, before attempting this may be an idea worth considering :D

Kinda jumping into the conversation here ^^;

I guess you could say I have lucid dreams (never heard that term before...), but it's a little different. First, I don't think I've ever just had a dream where I didn't know I was dreaming or asleep. I always know whether I'm dreaming or not. Also, before I actually start to sleep, I'll be lying in bed and I'll just start thinking, and since my thoughts are the same as dreams (pictures/events or whatever) except it's night, I can control what I dream about. They end up being sort of like stories, and each night is another chapter.

That was very hard to explain, and it's still probably doesn't make sense...
It started and ended with a man.

I am often aware I am dreaming, but I have never been able to controll anything in my dreams ;A;

I couldn’t count on anyone to stand there behind me
And keep the dogs from dragging me off with them
While I slept you crept in and pulled the rug right out from under me
Then the rain stole away and took the parts that kept me functioning

My heart will be blacker than your eyes when I’m through with you

I've had a couple of lucid dreams....though usually i know subconciously I'm in a dream, I usually have to REALLY believe it's going to happen to be able to lucid dream. So like if a wanted to fly I would have to tell myself it was going to happen several times before it happened.

I was trying to have a lucid dream last night and almost succeded, but was so excited that sadly I woke myself up. The trouble is that 4/5 of my dreams are from, I guess you could explain it as third-person perspective. I can see an obscured version of myself as if I were looking down, but I can also controll what the obscured version of myself says and thinks. I just can't controll what the obscured version does. So it is a bit like a mix between first-person and third-person perspective.

Sorry to double-post, but I have just been reading about lucid dreams and types of dreams that are related to them and the closest thing that I could find to what happens to me is an Out-Of-Body Experience. I read about some other people's OBE's and they aren't like mine, but mine almost fit the explanation on Wikipedia. Out of the OBE's that I read, none of them are like mine, but they are similar to eachother. A researcher said that about 5-35% of people have had at least one OBE in their lifetime. There hasn't been much research though, so the researcher's claim may not be accurate.

Thank you so much to both of you for the information c:
I actually had a vision already that if taking someones shape during lucid dreaming were possible, it wouldn't be probably the most simple thing to do since it sounds pretty huge "progress", or how could I call that.
But there's yet a lot to do. It still quite often happens to me that when I realize I'm having a dream I almost immediately wake up. That's sad ._.

I have narcolepsy, so as a byproduct it would appear lucid dreams are second nature to me. I am capable of remembering all my dreams and prolonging them if I so please. If I choose, I can alter the flow of time within them as well. Rewinding, pausing, all abilities that come in handy for dreams that are often fast paced and chaotic. Of course I can also dictate what happens in the dream, although I've found forcing too many events to occur breaks the dream and sends me to another dream.

I find myself not actively influencing my dreams too much, however, I suppose they're plenty pleasant all on their own.

I've never actually had a lucid dream. There has been many times I've known I was dreaming, but I was never fully in control of myself. I'll have to work on that though.
