I'm an irresponsible dog owner. D: Last night, instead of stopping him, I let my ancient chihuahua climb a super steep flight of over twenty stairs. He got to one step below the top step and fell all the way down, and hit a wall. The screech was sickening. D: I don't know how it's even possible, but he was and still is perfectly fine. Which is a good thing. Then, I got so distracted with making sure he was okay I forgot to feed him his dinner. Then, less than an hour ago, I let him outside in the yard. He never has EVER strayed more than two feet from me, so I didn't bother putting him on a leash, especially because I thought the yard was fully fenced in. Apparently, it wasn't, because he found a hole in the fence and decided to go exploring. After much searching and recruiting Ton-ton (he's married to my grandma, but isn't blood related), a neighbor saw us calling for him and brought him to us. Apparently, he was just sitting by her door.
God, I'm so emotionally drained and tense now. :C At least he's safe and sound, curled up in the bed with me right now.
