I can't believe you guys. Okay, Bin Laden was a horrible person, there still exists death penalty etc. etc. but that's no reason to CELEBRATE it! He was a HUMAN BEING! I'm not saying that he deserved to live, just that at least a proper questioning would've been the right thing to do. It wasn't even PROVEN that he was behind 9/11! Also, ... 'congratulate the navy seals' ? SERIOUSLY? They erased a LIFE, that's nothing to congratulate them for. I'm seriously disappointed that there are people like that even here on CS.
Reading what you wrote just made me ... mad. This is the kind of behaviour that got this world into the trouble of even HAVING terrorists.

Actually, we SHOULD celebrate it. Yes, it IS proven he is behind 9/11, he was the LEADER of Al Queadae or hpwever you spell it. He kildd thousands of innocent civilians just because he hates America. Yes, we should celebrate his death because he killd many inncoent civilians. You say the navy seals earased a life? Well, Osama PURPOSLEY murdered THOUSANDS of lives, so he earased thousands of lives, so just taking his life is still not fair. Your wrong. I'm very happy Osama got murdered becuase he deserved to die.

I agree . . . partly. Yes, we are very happy in America because the terrorist that took so many lives is now dead. His one life will never account for all of those lost, yet this is a pretty great victory.

So I'm glad that that he's dead, but those of us that aren't related to anyone who was taken in 9/11 shouldn't be celebrating.

First things first, im NOT A BIIN LADEN SUPPORTER!!!
1. It was never proved that Bin Laden was the one that crashed those planes into the twin towers
2. The USA are probably in HUGE trouble now. Bin Laden supporters will want their revenge...
3. Why wasnt he just arrested?!
4. If there were 2 bullets implanted into his head, then surely he wasnt armed... think about it, if anyone was pointing a gun at you and you had a gun, the first thing you would protect would be your head and heart
5. You didnt take him by surprise, one of your helecoptors crash-landed into his yard, im PRETTY SURE he heard...
6. I know I said im nont a supporter, and im not, but there might be someone on CS that is
7. Why the celebrations? Several people went into someones house and shot them, why are we celebrating like some sort of new years?

I dont mean to offend ANYONE on here, its just an opinion...

I agree, it's wrong that everyone is celebrating over this, but honestly, I completely disagree with you on everything else.

1. Yes it was. He's admitted it on a video that he's sent out to people. xP

2. Yes, we probably are. People are generally malicious, it's natural to want revenge.

3. Because he was responsible for the murder of 3,000 innocent people. You don't just arrest someone for that.

4. Yes, he may not have been armed. The Islamic people have a tendency of strapping suicide bombs under their clothes, so just because he didn't have a gun then that doesn't mean that he was unarmed. We couldn't take a chance on just checking to be sure if he had bombs, all the Navy SEALs would've died if they did that xP

5. We kind of did sneak up on him, but yes, you are right that one of our helicopters did crash land.

6. What does that have to do with anything? xD

7. Like I said, I agree with you on this. I'd rather watch him rotting in a prison cell than dead, I'll admit that easily.

Why shouldn't people who didn't have people they knew in 9/11 be celebrating?? Everybody was very very devasated about the fact the thousands of innocent civilians got killed for no reason and every was very upset, everybody should be celebrating, unless your a supporter of Bin Laden or Al Quedae

@Cosey lion: I guess your right, but in my opinion everybody who isn't a supporter should be celebrating about the fact that the guy who purposley killed thousands of people is now dead. He knew it was gonna happen sooner or later.
I won't be on much...sorry. Ily guys and I'll try to be on as much as I can. Have a good day (:

public enemy #1 was killed meaning our troops, civilians over seas, and even us are safer.

we send our congrats to our BRAVE seals. im sorry but would YOU do what they did? not on modern warfare but real life. they risk their lives just like any soldier. they deserve our thanks. to all you who believe it was wrong, talk to a family that had their sons and daughters killed by men who were under Bin Laden. they are heartbroken. if your son/daughter died, wouldnt you want to kill that person that was responsible?

Mazzie, i agree with you on the fact that he HATED the US and he wouldve done away with anyone that stood against him. he hates Israel and all i gotta say is that God blesses the nation that protects His nation. oh and um if he was arrested, they would be more of an outburst because the others would want to break him out! more lives would be endangered. i think the US is smart by not releasing photos because that would only cause more unrest.

many may think it was wrong that we took a life but i guarrentee that he wouldnt have thought twice about killing you if you stood in his way. thats how he thought towards our troops. thats how he viewed all of the countries that stood in his way. public enemy #1. why not at least thank the brave seals and they whole military that were ready to give their lives for their country and you.

You've never failed and You won't start now

So I will call upon Your name

When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine

Okay, I'm going to put this out there, and I don't care if you judge me by it. And if you can relate to this, and you don't agree, then there is something seriously messed up with you.

I knew people who died in the 9/11 attack. Firemen, police officers, rescue crews, all of them. Even though my state is no where near New York or Washington DC, there were firemen I knew that died in that attack, because they volunteered to go find survivors. There was a dog a I knew, a search and rescue dog, that died trying to find survivors. I have known soldiers who have lost their lives trying to track Bin Laden down and kill him. So you ask why we are celebrating? That is one of the worst days in history, and nobody but those in the USA that were alive and able to comprehend what happened on that day, will ever get the feeling we felt to know he was dead. It was like Christmas had come early. He killed thousands of people. Thousands. And so many people were affected by it, not just the ones who died. So to turn on the news and hear that he was dead, it was a cause for celebrating.

Yes, we have pissed off people. We pissed them off for killing him. We pissed them off for celebrating. But they celebrated when they crashed those planes into the Twin Towers and into the Pentagon. I think it's our turn to celebrate now, whether you agree or not. Most of the people making comments on here, don't even live in the US, and if they do they probably don't know people who died. But I did. And when I got home, I heard the news, I celebrated.

You can say all you want that it was barbaric, cruel, mean, stupid whatever. I for one am happy he is dead. I wish I could meet the Seals that killed him, and shake their hands, but I know I can't and never will. And if you are against celebrating his death, celebrate the fact that our Navy Seals kicked butt again.

I was in the airport when i heard the news, getting home from Peru and you can ask the customs guy at LAX, i had a smile on my face. and its true, they loved the fact that they killed Americans on our own soil. we dont celebrate death; we celebrate the newly given hope many had when he died. it was the hope of one day, this war wil end and that that day is now closer because of his death.

.... yeah, I was just celebrating his death, not really hope.

As my non-Jewish Teacher, and My Jewish Rabbi both say: "No matter who or what, whether they be good or evil, kind or hateful, their life is sacred. Yes, it is a good thing he is dead, but think about it. His Parents. His Children. His Wife. All who have lost someone loved, and will never forget."

I never did like him. He nearly killed my Dad! But ALL life is sacred.

Yes, but they would have done similar things anyway. He was a major part of their plans, and had we failed to caputure him they may have gotten even bolder. The U.S. needed to prove that it isn't weak so that people might realize that we're really serious about stopping this whole thing. Sure, this isn't the end, but it's a necessary step.

If we cannot celebrate death, we cannot celebrate life.
In a world like that, nothing would ever get done, and the desire to never kill anyone would only result in our own deaths. (that's my opinion based on human behavior)
