I'm seriously terrified of making mistakes....That's why I have lack of action.
If a stressful situation comes up, my mind will freeze...like.."What should I do?! What's the right way? AH! Overlooaaaddd.....*brainfart*"

It always happens.
It happened when.....
~I'm asked to decide a majorly important decision.
~In sports (especially ones with bases) I always debate what to do 'cause I don't wanna mess up
~When a guy asked me to dance at a dance at school
~Which dress or clothes I should wear
~Something important I have to pick out

I went to the chiropractor today for my neck.
My head was fine when I went in.
Now I feel like banging my head against a wall until the Excedrin kicks in. >>

When I'm counting something (number of people, number of cars, etc.) I tend to repeat the last number in my head until I see another.
So, I'll count...
"One! One, one, one....Two! Two, two two.."
Or the opposite.
I'll count, but then say the next number in anticipation of getting to it.
"One! Two? Two...two...TWO! Three? Threee? Three....THREE!"

And then my mind will focus on one word...Like the word "News".
And I'll just think of it. "News! News? News....News!?"
Until the word sounds foreign.

Then, in the car, if there's nothing to do, I'll watch the road lines pass by under the car for awhile, or watch the treetops and trace the outlines against the sky...Or watch the powerlines as they criss-cross and switch sides. Or observe the shadows.

Well, washing your hands a lot is definitely a symptom, you should look it up more.

I can't wait to hear who wins the Cake Contest, but I'm so worried I wont place...

hm... I just copied the list and strike all things that I don't do

The symptoms of OCD, which are the obsessions and compulsions, may vary. Common obsessions include:

    * Fear of dirt or contamination by germs.
    * Fear of causing harm to another.
    * Fear of making a mistake.
    * Fear of being embarrassed or behaving in a socially unacceptable manner.
    * Fear of thinking evil or sinful thoughts.
    * Need for order, symmetry, or exactness.
    * Excessive doubt and the need for constant reassurance. (sometimes, not always!)

    Common compulsions include:

    * Repeatedly bathing, showering, or washing hands.
    * Refusing to shake hands or touch doorknobs. (I have to always touch car'knobs)
    * Repeatedly checking things, such as locks or stoves.
    * Constant counting, mentally or aloud, while performing routine tasks.
    * Constantly arranging things in a certain way.
    * Eating foods in a specific order. (well...no xD)
    * Being stuck on words, images or thoughts, usually disturbing, that won't go away and can interfere with sleep.
    * Repeating specific words, phrases, or prayers.
    * Needing to perform tasks a certain number of times.
    * Collecting or hoarding items with no apparent value.

seems like I should think about this..

Hm... I have a lot of those...

And I wrote this huge paragraph on how horrible it is that people treat people with mental disabilities the way they do, but it just disappeared. I hate this laptop. The keyboard's all squished, so if I try to press the 'shift' button and miss, I delete everything I wrote X(

edit: might as well make my own list. I didn't count the number of things I sadi yes to on the list up there...

  • Excessive doubt and the need for constant reassurance. (Does paranoyia paranoa paranoia count? XP)

    Common compulsions include:

  • Repeatedly bathing, showering, or washing hands. (I do wash my hands a bit more than a normal person my age, but I just want to feel clean...)
  • Refusing to shake hands or touch doorknobs.

It started and ended with a man.
