Amen to this. Those who read my long ago posts know exactly why.This. I'm doing the Reproduction Project in school with a guy. Not to be sexist or anything, but guys in my school can be pretty immature about it.
When I get in the mood to draw and when I do I'm discouraged at how I can't draw what I want and have it come out good.

What?
Yes, I'm sure my cat is offended that we refer to him as our pet and call ourselves his owners rather than his "human caretakers". I must go apologize to him for these 9 years of this horrible abuse and psycological torment. =P
And I'm sorry for calling the raccoon in my back yard a "wild animal" while trying to explain to my little cousin why we can't let him in the house. I should have used "free-ranging" instead, because clearly the term wild indicates that he's an evil, cruel beast.
I will also refrain from calling people "pigs," in case any of the animals on the farm nearby overhear.
---
I love animals and I love my cat, but really? People set cats on fire, drag dogs behind their cars, and starve horses until they eat the wood off their stalls, yet you're worried about a "companion animal" getting offended?
Maybe people would actually give a crap about stopping animal abuse and wildlife (excuse me, free ranging animal) conservation if half of it's supporters weren't idiots like these.
