Especially those people who have leaders and betas who are like two years old. Really? Two years is still juvenile!

Wolves in the wild don't live very long. 5 years old is middle aged. I do agree that the alphas and betas are always too young. I'm sorry, but a pup is no where near capable of upholding a family.

I haaaate when this happens. I made a 7 year old wolf in a realistic wolf RP, and someone's 2 year old wolf started stalking him.
Although I didn't say it, I was silently laughing my ass off, because my character would completely ignore hers and blow her off. What did she expect? He's as cuddly as a cactus... -kind of feels like Grinch jokes will commence-

I also hate how 'realistic' animal RPs have 'crushes' and 'boyfriend/girlfriend'.
I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that wolves saw each other as something other than mates... >.>

This is the reason why I haven't joined a wolf role play in a while. I gave up with the unrealisticness of it. True, I do sometimes join a very unrealistic role play just for fun to see how far it actually goes, but never a serious role play.

This. Its the same with horses or any other animal roleplay I've seen. I made a seven year old horse, which isn't even middle-aged, and everyone else makes like, two or three year olds. I usually try to make my chars a few years older for the heck of it, unless my character's personality matches better with a younger animal.
