Just found one that looked good... but if I throw Aenor in there, she'll still be at least 5 years older than everyone else. >< What is it that people have against adults these days?
On the other hand, Sharu's in there, too. This could be fun.

Well, at least in roleplays you can decide on your life. Real life is rather uncooperative in that aspect. c:

I've never seen a roleplay with adults in on CS. Well, not a romance one anyway. OMG, ENDANGERED SPECIEEEEES.

I suppose. But I need to revise for my Maths GCSE, but I want to roleplay. :I

Endangered species, indeed. *strokes the poor adult roleplays* Nobody's ever over 20 years old... but all of my characters are. *sigh* And I don't want to make them teenagers again.
Ah, I'll just throw her in one of these young adult thingies so that she can lean back and make fun of them.

Well, roleplaying is certainly more fun than Maths. :/ Maybe some self-rewarding system might help you? (As in 'I'll revise now for an hour and then I am goint to reply to one of my roleplays'?)

I'm afraid if I make my religion RP, all the people who will join will be completely closed minded and will blow up at anything :/

Religion roleplay? Sounds pretty interesting.
Although I can see where you are coming from. The extreme religiousness as seen in the 18+ forums is breathtakingly high on CS sometimes. :/

It is surprisingly hard to find just your average illiterate romance roleplay with humans, that isn't only for:
- normal teenagers
- more or less mythical beings AKA your average butchered vampires / werewolves (most of which are surprisingly teenagers)
- students at boarding school (which means teenagers)
- teenagers stranded on an island / wherever else
- teenagers on the run / the street / faced with tremendous danger / ...
- oh, and teenagers in fantasy worlds

Come on, people! Just normal grown-ups! Dx Is that so hard? *shuffles off to search again*

There just aren't enough people interested in it. D:

All of my characters are 20+, though.
You can get away with the 18/19/20 age group here on CS, but I haven't seen many role plays with characters that are 25 plus.
My oldest character would probably be Mort who was born in medieval times, though looks about 70-80. xD
My oldest RP character looks/acts about 25/6/7. :U

You'd have to be really, really careful. You'd have to keep it very respectful to all religions concerned.
Personally, I'd suggest taking it offsite, CS is a place for younger kids and many of them wont take a liking to what you're doing and that will cause drama. (I even had someone complain about my Yuri RP because it was girlxgirl.)
You just gotta think about whether it's worth a potential warning or lock-down of the thread. :x
I'd go with trying it on Gaia Online instead of CS.

I'll admit that my oldest character is 'only' 35 although it'd be rather easy to make him older. Although he wouldn't like it... (Why do my characters always have to be so stubborn? It's nearly impossible to change anything about them... or maybe I only love them too munch. D: )

On the other hand, it makes sense that people seldom roleplay older characters. If I were to make a wild guess, I'd say that most of the roleplayers here on CS are under the age of... say, 16 or 17? No surprise that they don't roleplay adults. It's still sad though. I'd really like to have a try at some illiterate romance roleplay. :c

My rant is about those characters in roleplays that don't do anything. They're not noobs, their post length is fine and they're literate, but they just can't seem to keep with the action! It drives me mad, because I always feel the need to rescue them, but the moment I get one back into the rp, they manage to weasel themselves out again.

And then they moan that nobody is posting to them -_-

This is more of a personal problem, but I joined a RP on ES, and it was going pretty well, until the leader of the RP showed he wasn't very literate. (It was a very text heavy one.) I was surprised he didn't even use quotations to show dialogue, so my quest for a good thread roleplay continues.
