Today. I mean, it was awful, well, part of it. The rest just awkward. SO it was cool.
Well, yesterday, I heard that T was going to ask me out. Well the exact thing I heard was "T is going to ask Amy out and if she says no he is asking Ananda"
First, Oh HELL no! I am not your SECOND CHOICE! Nu-uh buddy. First choice or I'm saying no!
Well, anyway, aside from my little annoyance at that, I don't like T. Last year we were almost friends, but that was mostly just because we were both in the same Math class. So, well, proximity and valence electrons in nerd-speak. Well, I knew he liked me, but at that time I was still officially with BB. SO nothing ever came of it.
This year there have been tons of rumors going around saying that he was going to ask me out. He never acted on anything. But today, I heard it from the horse's mouth. I was talking to my friend at her locker and some people were talking about how he was going to ask me out. That's how I heard first. Well then I was walking with my friend down the hall, and I heard HIM say it.
Well, there is another guy. D. He's, well, with all due respect to him, a noob. At the very least a dork. And not in my way. He's popular, sort of good looking, and well, he's a sweetheart. Not my type, but he's nice. I've known him for years, like, 5 years I think? Yeah. Well, anyways, I always though he was just, well, like every other popular guy. Recently he has been being nicer to me, which i appreciated. He defended my partial fursuit. Always lets me go in front of him when we are getting off the bus.
He also likes to joke like "Oh we should go out hurhurhur" (he doesn's actually laugh like that, just fyi) But EVERYONE does that. (I mean that seriously, just about every guy does that to me. It is getting stupid.) But he always said it with a sense of, well, more sincerity. Like he was saying it as a joke, but hoping I would take it seriously.
Well anyway, I figured he liked me, and I was fine with it. I mean, a little extra attention never hurts right? Okay, stalkers are an obvious exception, and unwanted attention, but whatever.
Well, ANYWAYS! He asked me out today. I was surprised, but not totally. Oddly enough i had the feeling he was going to ask me out that day. So, he asked me out in the morning, I said sure, I honestly don't have anything better to do, and even if nothing comes of it it's still nice to know I at least gave it a try. I mean, you have to at least try.
Well, about, 3 minutes after that, who else would come wandering up to me with a freakish grin on his face. T. Well, he asked me, I explained that I just said yes to Darnell, and that I really didn't see him as anything more than a friend.
He was sad, but whatever.
Anyways, Back on topic. I'm amused y the fact that I got asked out by 2 people today. because being asked out by one person is a rare occurrence for me. And by rare I mean thrice before this day.
I am also amused by the fact that I predicted that D was going to ask me out.
I am also amused by the fact that this is the best part of my day.
First block was gym. my knee still hurts so my mom wrote me a note saying i was allowed to sit out. My gym teacher ignored it and made me walk like, well, I don't know distances, so, far. THEN, play kickball. I spent the class trying to make her head explode with my mind. (this amuses me) Sadly, to no avail. THEN I had to walk all the way back.
Then I had a panic attack, not so amusing, but then I got candy, so, that was good.
Then I finished my math that was supposed to take the full class in about 7 minutes. So I got to read Shenny for the rest of class.
So today wasn't bad. Just odd. And i have a date. So, cul. This amuses me a lot actually. My day was more exciting than most.
