Oh dear god. xD

I've never heard of wolfspeak until reading this thread. And I can say now it's one of the most annoying hard to understand things ever.

I, personally, hate wolfspeak. I drives me insane. No, they aren't orbs. They're eyes. -_- It's not like wolves actually call their legs pillars, so why do we need to?
this isn't some kind of metaphor

Wolf speak was cool when I was like 12... and that's pretty much a decade ago. It was a show of elitism but then it died out in my roleplaying community. I don't know how it's continued, but I find it's silly and unneeded. Sure I'll use some easy ones, brute, femme, etc. Fea bugs me. Not a word. Orbs... ugh.

Using synonyms is great. Expanding your vocabulary is great. Abusing the dictionary and using made up words to describe certain traits = not. Half the time wolf/horsespeak words are butchered Latin words that mean something COMPLETELY different, or are better used as a metaphor:

Her legs were so tall they seemed like pillars.

Not instead of the word. xD

LOL so I went searching. When wolfspeak came out like 10~ years ago the thing before it was apostraphes. And epic apostraphe abuse. Let's watch how the two collide together in a LEGIT POST I wrote about 9 years ago.

~-nefarious fatale, o' deep henna dust'ng, perambulat'd 'pon th' arda. Auds perk'd 'pon tiara, sash swerv'ng 'n a lively manner 'hind 'er lithe form. Caput swivel'd 'pon cervical 'o gaze 'pon th' loam. Talons unsheath'd, grop'ng th' litho 'neath 'er bodice. Jowls part'd slightly, soft hazes o' maple pigment'd dart 'rom th' oth'r canids. Pedals left imprints 'pon th' newly laid loam, padd'ng t'ward th' ravine. Strawberry sponge loll'd out, lasp'ng up th' crystal liquid. Hazes dart 'rom th' ravine back 'o 'er surround'ngs. Slight bark 'mitt'd larnex, thorax low'r'd t'ward th' loam, proboscis touch'ng th' litho-~

LOL.

Now we're moving away from apostraphes...
Stygian tapestry woven with care adorned the colossal hellion, as unguises hit the loam with utmost care. Sable ringlets flew gracefully in the zephyr that rustled over his stalwart tenement, whisping as if there was no care in the world. Tenebrous lampistra's gaze hellward, deep and full of livelyness and hope. His broad serpentine arched over, his regal visage lowered slightly, pulled tight towards his thorax. Flicked upon his

Talons lacerated the loam where the hessian stood. Fifth appendage flickered idly behind his posterior. He had been absent for quite some time. He had his reasons. Leaving without notification was something he was known for. Dual auds twitched slightly as the flickered back and forth upon his lithe dial. Facade showed both weariness and anxiety.

Argent peltage was matted, coated with his vermillion blood here and there. Not that it was much. Jowls parted slightly, luminaries of ochre dancing about infront of him. He hadn't seen head or tail of his twin progeny, not that he was worried. They were, infact old enough to take care of themselves. Sinew tensed beneath epidermis, as the masculine inched closer into his terrain.

Many a thought had run through his cerebrum of what excuse to use for his absence. Of course, Deya would know the truth, but the rest of the cadre didn't need to know. Nares expanded, trying to pick up the scent of other canids near him.

He had heard, his aunt, Avril was joining the cadre and wished to greet her. It wasn't every day in which the mother of a legend joined a pack.

The gurgling of a small stream was the only thing he picked up. Sigh emitted from lingual orifice as his path was veered off course towards it. Leaning down at the bank, sponge lolled out, lasping up the crystalined serum. As he finished, the brute continued towards the series of small dens within the centre of the cadre.

That one is pretty bad too. 8D

As the gale rolled over the hills, and the sun shone at its fullest, a hellion with a tenebrous henna infused raiment roamed them. His stalwart chassis tauntened and bristled as each step was taken, azure lampistra's veer around. Following him, his family stuck close together.

Caput was dropped slightly, as the czar broke into a solid gait, proboscis exhaling and inhaling the sweet smell that wafted through it. He was in search of the alphen or alphess of this terrain, his broad pate held up with some dignity.

Hock kisser glided gently behind him, flaggating his posterior. Twin diagnostics flicker, as the brute took the sounds to his cerebrum. Irretracable grapnel grope the loam as phlanges hit periodically. Maxilla parted slightly from its clasp, a loud howl emitted from its chasm.

LATIN ABUSE. e___e

I know there's one really awesome one somewhere but my old files are really unorganized. So enjoy these ones for now. c:

Now that's just disturbing. And slightly unnecessary--
Oh, those poor apostrophes...
