A certain person who posted on this thread at some time within it's history annoys me. I will not name names, or explain why, only that I hate Histrionics, even though I am one.

It annoys me that, before I reached the histrionics part, I was thinking "Oh, god, they're ranting about me. D:". Actually, it annoys me that I keep thinking people are ranting about me.
This always happened when I'm sick/upset/both. :C

I have to write an essay for English, but I lost the sheet that I wrote the question on.
Tomorrow I'll walk in to English class and have to sit through a lecture about how lazy I am and how this is the Prelim HSC and it's ultra important and if I can't be responsible then I shouldn't be doing advanced English yada yada yada. Great, exactly what I want to hear on a Monday morning.

I just saw a stamp that said "Proud to be Emo"

uhhh..hu..doesn't that defeat the purpose.
I thought emo's hated themselves and cut themselves. You can't really be proud of that...

I know this comment is from ages ago but I physically NEEDED to reply to it.

I literally screamed when I saw your comment. I hate the emo stereotype. I hate all stereotypes really but I am seriously offended by the emo one since most (ignorant, stupid, smegheaded, lazy) people would classify me as that.

Let me clear this up. Emos do not hate them selves. Emos do not cut.

Cutters cut, emos are emotional.
That's how they got their name. Emo was derived from Emotional Goth. The base of the style was black with a slight flare showing that, they aren't as 'heartless' as some would describe goth people.

Also, to clarify further, goth people are not heartless, or vampires, or any of the other stereotypes that seem to be circulating.
The reason goths don't smile is because goth people are very vain. When you smile, you create wrinkles. They want to stay forever young and beautiful so they avoid facial expressions that could cause wrinkling.
Goth people usually do enjoy dark music, and yes, I would suppose that some if not most are depressed in some way. Everyone is.
They are also not Satan worshipers. I'm sure some are, but that's a religion thing and it has nothing to do with your style. Honestly, a pris could be the Anti-Christ for all you know.

So, to wrap this up, cutters cut, emos are emotional, goths are beutiful and people who stereotypes are ignorant, stupid, smegheaded lazy people who don't even bother to get to know someone before decided weather of not they are good people or not.

As a daughter of a proud goth/punk mother, I am pretty well educated about this. I am tired of people using stereotypes, but I hate it even more when they use them wrong.

Annoyance, well, that was pretty much my annoyance. But to broaden it up, human beings. If I had the choice, I would much rather have been born a cat. They are a lot nicer to each other.

EDIT: oh, final statement, Don't be mean to cutters either. As a 'cut-curious' as I am called, I find it very offensive when people are rude to them. Cutters cut because of deep emotional scars, a need to feel, or curiosity. Yes, they need help, but the choice to find it is theirs alone.

But that stamp was accompied by one that said, "I cut myself so you can't hurt me more" Or something like that. So I'm pretty sure it was someone trying to be cool and fit into that stereotype >.>
