Hi! I'm Hazel, and I just wanted to clear up some misconceptions.
So, I've been seeing people that say that bisexual means you only like girls and boys. That's not necessarily true.
The bisexual manifesto reads, "However, do not assume that bisexuality is binary. In fact, do not assume that there are only two genders."
Therefore, bisexual means you like two or more genders. This leads to a lot of overlap with pansexuality. But, you can still be bi if you like all genders! Let me tell you why.
Bisexuality is attraction where gender is a factor in the attraction, meaning that you can have a preference for one gender over another.
Pansexual is attraction regardless of gender, or having no preference.
I hope I cleared some things up for you guys! [dont use this post to be panphobic please. bi/pan solidarity!]
