What colour is YOUR hair?

I have thick, straight dark brown hair. Every one says 'Oh, I love your hair. I wish mine was like that,' and I'm just like 'No you don't want my hair. It's so thick and heavy that I can only leave it down or put it into a low ponytail. I'm lucky if I can get it into a decent high ponytail and sometimes I'm able to get it into something that resembles a bun,'
