Well, I WAS pretty happy, but now my mom and sister just made a shared comment and completely ruined my mood.

Mom (after me getting a book in the mail that I'm gonna send to my friend for her bday): Is that the book you ordered? The one that's not even for you?
Me: Yep! It's for my friend.
Sis: Why are you giving it to your friend?
Me: ... Beeecause people give gifts to their friends for their birthday (I was saying it in a happy, joking tone, because I didn't think much of it at first).
Sis: Wow. You do more for your online friends than you do for your real life ones.
Mom: I was thinking the same thing.

Like, WHAT THE HECK??!! You guys SERIOUSLY haven't pieced together the puzzle?! You STILL don't know that my "online" friends ARE my "real life friends"?!
And what the heck. What's wrong with having them as best friends. They're more amazing than all my other friends I've had in the past.
So THANKS A LOT FOR BRINGING THAT UP, SIS. AND AGREEING, MOM. I REALLY THOUGHT YOU GUYS SUPPORTED THE FRIENDSHIPS I MAKE. GUESS NOT.
