I need help.

My sister is sad because she might have to give away her puppy. He keeps digging out of his cage, but he’s too wild to have in the house. We live in a part of the state where it is legal to shoot animals in your yard, and she’s afraid the dog will get shot if he digs out when we aren’t there.

I am not a dog person, but my sister is devastated. I know what it’s like to lose a pet.

She is thinking of getting a small, indoor dog and wants to name it Lily.

I don’t think I’ll be able to stand that because I used to have a sweet calico kitten named Lily. She was killed by a vicious neighborhood dog, so being forced to call a dog Lily would break my heart and probably give me PTSD that would make me hate the dog.

I don’t want to hate the dog or hurt my sister’s feelings, but I think she’s set on the name.

What should I do? Should I suggest a new name? Try to explain myself? Flat-out refuse to call a dog the name of MY dead kitten? Lily was HER name. No other animal deserves to have her name.

If anyone has ideas, advice, or anything, please let me know. I want to make peace with my sister, but I don’t want to think about my poor kitten every time I look at her dog.

i’m having the worst cramps right now and it doesn’t help that I have the psat tomorrow, which i’ve been stressing over all night aghh

I feel so alone. I am alone. I have no friends. Like most people joke like that but I seriously have no friends. It hard. It’s heartbreaking. And I live alone. No family for at least 50 miles. It’s miserable.

wow. why do I like so many things? why can't I just be good at one thing rather than average at everything?
I want to do it all, but sadly I can't.
so choosing where to go and what to do is the most stressful thing I've ever tried to do, then there's the matter of money, transportation, my older family I have to take care of now because reasons.. am I even going to be accepted to a good place? what if no one accepts me? what if that one B is the one that ruins me? what if that one thing I didn't do is the reason they'll choose that one other person and not me?
and classes. marching band? science? math? enlglish? art? what do I prioritise? what do I want to do? how do I know? what should I do?
it's all coming so fast, I'm not sure what I'm doing anymore.

Going along with my previous post, if my sister gets an inside dog, I’m scared about what’ll happen to my cat.

The last time my parents tried to get an inside dog, my tabby started going outside the litter box because he was scared of the dog. My dad literally threw him outside. Then, he got an eye infection and died.

If my other cat—who’s declawed and lazy—gets thrown out, there’s no way he’ll make it. I’m just super scared about my cat right now.

Any advice?
