Fursuit Thread

You did very well! i cannot make even the head XDD im so bad of sewing and stuff never been good on clothes or suits.. ever..

XD thank you <3 I am naturally good with building things with my hands so this came pretty easily to me (Liger was my first) but I learned a lot of what not to do with these types of costumes lol reason he is in such rough shape T_T I'm really hoping that I can get faster/more efficient/better quality XD as I get more practice. I am currently working on an Epona quadsuit to match my friends Link costume, and am starting a Typhlosion pokemon fursuit lol after that I have a couple of people already lined up who want to commission me ^^;; but I don't know if I will be good enough yet by that point..

: )) well its natural to you hands so i bet thre cannot be so bad work on you and ofcourse all people should understand these are the first ones : ) and you need the practise so its awesome to hear you have line : ) you get the practise yu need and yu can get rid of he costumes you dont use.. since i think if i even trye to do.. my work would be so horrible i would not even myself use it XD

^^; we will see lol I want to see how these next 2 come out before I start looking at commissions lol liger and the other one I made lightning saix were both just shiny fabric over foam, this will be my first time working with a fur lol

I'm sure they would be awesome! You gotta believe you can do it, it takes lots of practice If you ever do decide to build one I know lots of people here would be glad to help ^^

Great to hear : )) maybe when i got my first suit what i can wear i can make myself one even tho i live i country where all suppiles is not available in stores.. so i need to buy other country and ship them in here behind the gods back : D

Yea I do sorta understand that T_T There are very few fur stores in Canada so I have to get fur ordered in from shops in the USA and stuff -_- kinda sucks but that's the only real way to do it. Just disappointing cause one of the nicer fur sites I have found don't ship outside the US

yeah and i live other side of the world compare to USA so the shipping is not cheap in this way so its maybe better just order a suit and pay it shipping what might cost the same than suppiles only so i get ready suit same ammount of money (almost) than just buying suppiles : )

That's probably true, makes sense to me anyway to save money on shipping of lots of individual supply boxes and just put that money toward ordering a custom suit and only 1 shipping bill lol either than fur I luckily can find most things close-ish to where I am

And if i order supply in many boxes i need to pay taxes too for them because theyre supply it cost more than just suit taxes : 3
so better to order suit in same money : ) (and maybe litle cheaper) and minus the time and strugling it would lead me

Aaah I watched Sharpe make this head on ustream yesterday and I'm sooo in love <3 Especially because it's almost $300 cheaper than she normally sells heads for. hjsadklgshd; I wish I had enough money ;~; But alas I do not, and I know I need to save to get my fursona made into a fullsuit as I've been dreaming of doing for a few years now.
The struggle is real x3

Anyway, Why do deadlines make you loose all motivation to finish a suit. I have to have it done by tomorrow night and I still need to trace the patterns and fur my head, finish my hand paws and sew my tail. >_<
