I have finally reached the moment of truth. I am going to make my fursuit once my fur comes in. Also once I choose my character!
On my list of who to make I have...
Cyrus the JBD (if I win him)
Mishka
Florida (belongs to a friend)
Penny
All others may come later and after my first 2 suits I will do commissions

XD not sure what those characters look like, but I would recommend starting with a character that has a slightly easier coat pattern/markings for your first one (unless you have made one before ) until you find the ways that work best for you

Sorry for the inactivity guys -_- I have been super stressed cause our neighbours house caught fire a couple of nights ago and so work on Epona has pretty much stopped for now, but I did get my best friend over yesterday and get her to take some nice photoshoot pictures of Liger Zero though while the weather was nice. I'm hoping to get some of them uploaded onto my DA account soonish. If anyone is interested I will share some of them?

Hi, this may be slightly off topic but does anyone know any good ways to stay cool in a full body costume? I am not making a fur-suit but a armored Elvin warrior costume from The Two Towers, like Haldir's troop wore at Helms Deep. I made the leather under armor out of boat seating vinyl and since I am super picky it is as accurate as I can make it, so it laces up the back and can't be removed without help. I get so over heated wearing it for more than 15 minutes I get light headed. Are cool gel packs under the vinyl the best way to go or does anyone have anything better that they know of? Thanks ^_^

I'm not really sure but I would look at somehow installing a fan in there, to either blow cooler air toward you, or hot air away, but I don't know how the setup you have is and how rigid you are about it being 100% correct, sometimes things have to be changed slightly to make it work (I hate doing it too cause I'm a perfectionist but sometimes its gotta be done T_T)

You could try something like ice packs but if you planned on wearing the costume for long periods of time you would have to have several on hand with some cooling while you are using one and swap it out regularly

Yay for a day in July that was sunny but not so blisteringly hot that I could stay out there for 40 minutes for this photoshoot!





This costume has pretty much been officially retired since I got the photo shoot pictures I had been dying to get lol It is in rough shape from all the use at conventions.

Aaah I watched Sharpe make this head on ustream yesterday and I'm sooo in love <3 Especially because it's almost $300 cheaper than she normally sells heads for. hjsadklgshd; I wish I had enough money ;~; But alas I do not, and I know I need to save to get my fursona made into a fullsuit as I've been dreaming of doing for a few years now.
The struggle is real x3

Yea it is a cosplay of Liger Zero from Zoids New Century Zero lol hes like.. best I could describe, a lion-type robot that is used for fighting. It was a show on TV a while back (like 13/14 years ago XD)

You did very well! i cannot make even the head XDD im so bad of sewing and stuff never been good on clothes or suits.. ever..
