Yay i founded finally the place where im ordering a comission one of my fursonas : ) i just need to waite they open fro comissions <3
Well mean while i waite i think to buy one suit in furbuy to my friends to wear : ) or to me if i dont feel to wear Alera.

Here is my Character i think to order :3

Aurora Borealis <3 called Alera : ) She is Fennec fox <3
(picture by me 10 minutes work. had to make one with current and real coloring. fully made by paint )

And if someone dont know the Aurora Borealis is northern lights :3 name come about her color etc.. :3
one of my most precious one fursona <3 and her outlook is changed 5 times but i think this is now the best and the final one : )

Wires lol I am probably going to look for a slightly larger guage than what I used, but just put wire into it ^^ made sense in my mind and seemed to work out well lol I originally had it curling a lot more but it didnt look as nice so I straightened it slightly

Spent all day looking at clothes to wear with my (still unnamed) rabbit partial. I'd like some opinions. :3
I have explanations for every article of clothing; I believe you can make a partial look as complete as a fullsuit with the right theme and performance.

First on my list is a pair of Tripp pants. This is what I first started seeking as I adore partials wearing them. They are bulky so the costume doesn't look like it's tightly hugging fur against the body and they are cut so that their movement even looks a bit like digitigrade. They have chains that add detail and movement to the pants, creating a great illusion of being something anthropomorphic furry legs could be under.

Next on my list is a shirt to match the pants. I decided to go with purple and black, obviously, since that is the colors of the pants I chose. I am fond of the biohazard symbol, and it seemed to go well with the style of pants I chose, so I went with that.

Not only do jackets cover up the arms when there are no armsleeves, they add bulk to the arms. Instead of choosing a long-sleeved shirt, I went with a short-sleeve and a jacket to go over. Handpaws are often bulky when worn with a simple shirt, so it often looks disproportional. Since the main color of the shirt was purple, I chose a simple black jacket to neutralize the color, yet keep my overall theme for this partial.

Lastly, to complete the theme, I added a scarf. I've loved these scarves on Amazon for a long time and have always wanted to buy one; now is the time. Scarves add a great touch to a partial and makes it feel more like a characterized costume rather than just casual clothing with an animal mask and tail.

Trying to find someone willing to make a bodysuit for my partial. Just emailed the original maker to ask if they would be willing to make one, or where they got their fur.

I'm hoping I can at least buy a few yards of fur and get someone to make me a bodysuit for a discount if I provide the fur.

Does anyone know where to get arm sleeves and paws? Van is making me a fursuit partial and I don't think she is doing handpaws or arm sleeves... does anyone know where I can get them cheap?

If their quote is too high, you could always make it yourself. Make a DTD, attach foam in the shapes you like (digitigrade/stompy feet/shaping), use cheap scotch tape to cover what you've made, tear it off and make a pattern, and from there you just copy your pattern. For me to make a bodysuit in raw costs (what I spend, minus labor), you're looking at something like
-10 USD in duct tape
-5 USD in scotch tape
-5 USD in upholstery foam (20 for the whole roll, but I don't use it all)
-8 USD in light cotton fabric
-5 USD in polyfill/ cotton fluff/bean bag pellets (Pellets are 20 a sack, but we don't need it all)
-100 USD in great quality fur. (4-5 yards for an healthy, average adult. Less for skinny/short, more for tall/fat)

Personally I save costs making padding into "pillows", and I can buy in serious bulk being a maker and all. I excluded some costs either because they are extra, or I always have them lying around so I don't know what they cost. Like claws, I cast them myself in resin. I buy industrial size, 5-gallon containers (and the 2oz catalyst, which is a lot btw). If you want claws, you'd either have to make them out of a scrap of pvc/stuffing, or something. Or buy claws, there's that.

If you want a more in-depth tutorial, I can try to help. You have to ask specific questions, though. I could talk for years on this stuff.
