Fursuit Thread

Kiddems: It is, and we used to be able to post a lot and chat; it was great. I don't like that we have to keep the spam down, but this is a really big thread - if we spam too much, it will be locked and we won't be able to post at all, or we'll have to move from CS to another place. :c I'm sorry I sound so.. militant, it's just that we've been really close to going poof altogether in the past.. ^^;

(Erhm.. sorry that my post is kind of spammish. I can't think of anything furry-related to put, but I thought I should clarify why I'm worried over the issue..)

Personally, what you consider "spam" relates to the thread's subject matter and something I'd find fine as it relates to something particularly furry. Asking for a recap, however, is something I find a bit of a pet peeve as all the information would take just a few minutes to read, tops.

In other news, I'm working on a pretty cool project for badges (since we have badge printers that aren't in use until next FWA). So, it'll be a credit card-sized badge that'll be a bit generic, but totally cute! These would be things that would display your species, sub-fandom, etc. with a few double sided mood-type badges thrown in for double the fun!

I'll so be trying to order them, I'd like explode if I got one of the Hallows (Reaper x3)

Anyway, I just like, hand draw them until I can't feel my fingers. My friend's getting me a new set of pastels and pencils, so as soon as I get them I'll open traditional badge commissions on FA, dA, and Maybe CS.

This isn't directed at anyone in particular, but - could you guys please spam a little less?

Like, if you are making a fursuit, you don't have to post things like "I'm making one, pictures are coming soon!" - just wait until you have the pictures, then post :3

If you haven't been here for a while and want to know what's been going on... read the posts instead of asking for a recap? :]

If you are unsure of what a furry is or have a question, do ask us- but don't ask things that have just been answered ^^;

If you only have something small to add to the conversation, and it isn't really all that big of a post.. wait until you have something interesting to add, and put the smaller thing at the end of the post (for example, instead of 'cute pic', wait until you have something to add to a discussion, and then say 'cute pic, ___!' at the end)

Umm.. I think that's all the stuff that I've noticed. I'm sorry if I sound, like.. mean and controlling :c I just don't want the thread to get locked for spam.


Anyway.. I have a character whom I don't use much. Would any of you be interested? (she might not be adopted out, it depends on whether I get all maternal instinct-y over her ><)

I love that sheep character! I am having a new obsession over sheep, anyway. (I'm a Border Collie, I can't help it.) If you are still looking for a home for her, I will always have open arms. <3

Anyway, does anyone know any good anthro artists on CS? I've become more willing to trade my CS pets for art, but it is such a struggle to dig through them all. Plus I know most people don't respond well when people ask them constantly if they have a shop.

@Ninja Bunny- LOL. These are the printers the conventions use, and they print on the plastic ID cards (like a credit card) and run close to the $1500 mark. I have an example at home, but I'm at work for a few hours, still. They only get used during the convention, so we're firing them up so they get more use.

Working on a tail-type set, so coming up with cute/easily identifiable names is fun. I've got curly-tail (spitz-breed dogs since there are SOOOOOO many in the fandom), nub-tail (bears, hyenas, sabers, etc.), and floofy-tails (cat and fox version). Coming up with more, hopefully!

Yayz! Fursuit progress! Not much though, I have eyes. Before you ask about why it doesn't have white on the eye is it is a budgerigar, so it hasn't got eye whites as it is a bird, and it's eye white is not visible.

(It has red eyes as it is a lutino and I ordered the fur, which will probably come Saturday. Then, YAY, FINISHED HEAD )

awesomeness! as soon as i commission simply madd for a partial i will begin my own experiments! so far have made 1 suit completely by myself and helped make one with my gramma. any suggestions as to where to buy fur? sy fabrics and hart fabrics are kinda expensive if i remember right.....right?

@ninja bunny- we've got quite a large fanbase here, too! It always makes it more fun, especially with large group functions.
