But that was a long time ago.
Today, I checked when I last sent an email to you. It’s been almost 2 months.
You told me to be honest. I was as honest as I dared.
But now I think I angered you and you’ve decided to leave me hanging.
That makes me mad. Why did you reach out after half a year of me getting over you, mess me up again, and then leave me hanging. Is this cruel payback for me getting over you?
Here’s something I wish I could tell you:
My good memories of you? They’ve faded away. All I can easily remember are the times you hurt me. The times I angered you for no reason. The times you guilt tripped me so bad, it broke me. The times you ignored me.
It’s sad, my old friend. We were so close back then. What changed? I know your life got scattered and you told me about it for hours and hours. I know your school life was tough, your home life tougher. But why should that break us?

But driving down with her, FROM A SUPER COLD STATE, ON A WEEK WORTH DRIVE?!??!Through states that get extreme snow and temperatures, and then into our state, with basically no snow. If only you could fly. But your precious girlfriend doesn't fly well. Ok, I actually see that... Hm. We're going to have 2 Christmases this year, the first being on Christmas, the other not.

I’ll stop writing you letters after this, but I had a few more things I needed to get out.

I gave you everything I had. For five years. I tried to get over you and you popped back into my life every time I even came remotely close to doing that. You gave me so much hope for the future, one where we ended up together. And you snapped that hope into pieces within a week, maybe a month if I was lucky. Every single time. Do you know how frustrating this is for me? I don’t love anybody the way I love you and sometimes I’m terrified I never will. I don’t know how to make it feel real with anyone else. You’re always on my mind and I can’t make you go away.

I don’t want to love you. You hurt me again and again and again and you say the most painful things and you make me feel so inadequate. I give you everything I have to give and it’s not enough. So I try to give more and that’s too much? I don’t know what you want. Tell me why I’m not enough for you? And why do I love you when you make me feel like this?

And why can you just toss me to the side like this? Why is it so easy for you to pretend we aren’t and never were anything, and to move on? I’m so envious of you because you can forget me, or at least pretend. I can’t listen to a song without thinking about you. I can’t experience something without wanting to tell you about it. But you go on with your life like it’s nothing.

And maybe it is nothing to you by now. Maybe it doesn’t make you feel anything anymore. But it still feels like I’m getting punched in the stomach every single time.

Maybe you were right, and we shouldn’t talk anymore. Or ever again. Because all this does is hurt me over and over and over and over again. So don’t talk to me. Don’t message me again. Don’t even try. Just let me get over you for once.

Woah, I have never ever met someone like you. I don't even know what to say. Whenever you talk to me you leave me flustered. I'm afraid one of my close friends likes you too. That's not necessarily a good thing, because she is a very competitive person, and will most likely hate me if we like the same person. Your just so amazing, I just don't know how to tell you. But I will gain that courage to tell you one day. And the courage to tell my friend that I like you. I wish I had enough confidence to tell you that I liked you. Even if you don't like me back, I feel like I need to get it out, but not yet.

I have literally no idea where to go from here but my friend said not to get with you because you're a bad person and are the type of person who would get with someone just based on their looks.
