If you truly like someone it is normal that you're feeling a little overwhelmed and want to express your love and share your emotions. I don't think you are obsessed (at least not from what you're writing). Obsession is something negative and includes things like stalking your crush (and I don't mean things like checking his facebook profile), pushing him, not giving him any space, wanting to force him to do sth., not being able to think about anything else than him, not being able to focus on school/university/your job etc.

My other best friend doesn't like my crush, what should I do?

Did she or he say that they don't like your crush? Does she know your crush?
My best friend (male) gets super jealous when I have a new boyfriend (he is into boys too, so he's not in love with me, but still), but this is something you can and should talk about. Just reassure your best friend that you will still spend time with her/him, even if you have a boyfriend.

Did you have a date with him already? Sometimes guys get super shy too. Maybe you could ask him out in a more "casual way"? Like playing video games, watching a movie, doing homework together etc.

ok so this guy asked me out and he's cute and all but my friends really don't like him because he's been known to cheat/ask out multiple girls at the same time and when they say no he just moves on. Plus I barely knew him at the time. Then 3 months later we have this thing called "Blue and White day" which is the same thing as Olympic Day/Field Day. We got to hangout a bit and he kept trying to talk to me 24/7 and my friends started getting really mad at him which was kind of funny but at the same time i still wanna be friends with him. A month later I did one of those stupid things on snapchat that's like 10 things about yourself, 9 things about your best friend, 8 people you trust, 7 things you look for in a guy, etc. (mind you this is about 3 months later he asked me out and I for sure thought he had moved on cause he got a gf and whatever) but he responded to the snapchat when i listed people i trust and he was like "haha why am i not there" and I told him he has to earn his way there.. then he responded to the one when it said "what do you look forward in a guy" and claimed he had all of those standards, which is very unlikely in my opinion. So then i was like crap, am i starting to catch feelings for him which I have. Only one of my really close friends knows about this because she is in the same position of her friends also not liking her crush. I told him I had feelings for him with her but didn't wanna start dating because im afraid my friends wont think of me the same way cause they have never seen me have feelings for someone before besides Tom Ellis and Graham Wardle of course

Also this other guy likes me A LOT but i've been friends with him since 3rd grade and we're now in 9th grade, I honestly just think of him as a brother but if I tell him that he'll makes things awkward cause thats what he always does

Okay, so I've had a HUGE crush on this dude at my school, for like two years, and he's known about it for a while. Before the school year ended, I would notice him staring at me during class, so I decided to make a move. I wrote him a letter telling him about how I had feelings for him, and I had for a while, and the end result was terrible. I'd always thought he was pretty nice, and definitely NOT a huge jerk, but the day after I gave him the note, I overheard his friends talking about it. Yes, he told his friends all about it. The friend that was talking about it knew I could hear him, and he was sitting only a few desks away. I felt terrible and our teacher at the time knew something was up. She pulled me out into the hall and I ended up crying my eyes out. The worst part was, the guy I liked didn't even acknowledge the note or my presence after that. I really want to get over him, and I think I've been doing good, because I haven't seen him all summer, but I'm worried about when school starts back. Every year, we always end up having at least one class together, because of this program we are both in. The problem is, when I see him, all of my feelings just come rushing back, and I just can't help it. I really don't think he likes me back, but his friends and even his cousin insist he does and that we would be the cutest couple. I really just have no idea how to deal with this, as I've never had a crush this bad. Help!

Well guys good news.. I saw my crush after a long time and actually began to talk to her more (not just small talk) and I tried to over come my shyness^^
