So, me and this guy started off as close friends (not trying to be funny, with lil baby lyrics lmao) we became best friends with benefits since we both started liking each other, we were planning to date each other. He asked me to give him two weeks to work it out, 3 days before we talked about it, he broke up with his girlfriend for "me". Then we suddenly stopped talking. The two weeks had passed, and I called him up to see how he was doing, only to have him say he was still dating the girl. It hurt because he said I was everything he wanted, he said I was perfect. But it all went to waste. I told him I didn't want to talk anymore but it hurts that we don't talk anymore, what do I do?

Let him go. He isn't worth it. If he doesn't have the guts to leave her for you when he supposedly is all about you, he isn't worth it and isn't as into you as he says he is.

I agree with Fairlygoner ^^ He seems to be all talk and no bite. If he meant all that, he would have truly left her for you, and I can see how him lying to you like that would hurt. It's kind of like being stood up, but more extreme. And it's not okay. He isn't worth it.

Guys, I really need some help.

Ultimately you just have to respect her decision and leave it at that. If it's too hard to be friends with her, you may need to cut off the friendship. If she already told you that she wasn't interested and you think she's flirting with you, it's more likely that you're reading into it. People come and go, it may be best to push your feelings aside and if you can't so simply do that then you'll need to move on.
