I wish I could do something correct for once

i miss her so much.
it's only been two weeks but i miss her gorgeous, stupid face.
now her birthday party is cancelled so it's unlikely i can see her until october.
why does she have to live so gosh damn far away.

If you have had rodents, you know what I mean when I say you can tell when they're going to die. I don't know how to explain it.

My little mousey is dying, and it breaks my heart. I've only had her a few weeks but she was already a few years old, but I didn't want to see her fed to snakes as a feeder mouse so I adopted her.

She is a beautiful chocolate brown with small white markings on her lower back.

I'm going to miss her. :(

I held her for awhile and she started to relax, then I fluffed up some bedding for her to let her sleep in peace.

Got swooped by a magpie this morning. It drew blood, about a palm full and it stung like a cat scratch but thats not even what bothers me. I come home and show my parents my wound and tell the story and they laugh. THEY LAUGH! I mean the nerve of some people. And worse yet my mum told me to suck it up and go back there again because it probably won't swoop again. Um...single worse piece of advice that I've ever heard. I just have a burning hate for magpies now. They humiliated me but hey I finally got red hair like I wanted and kept things fresh for the school nurse (she hadn't heard of that before) and as usual I laugh along with others like it didn't hurt, didn't humiliate me, didn't bother me at all. But hey, just another regular day for me.

I'm sorry your family reacted so insensitively. Could you wear a hat when you are planning on visiting the magpie's area? It is most safe to avoid that location altogether, but if you are unable to for whatever reason, try to cover up and walk briskly. You could also use an umbrella.
If the magpie is on your school grounds or the like, you can tell the relevant staff members of it and something can be done, as it is a safety hazard.

My stupid cat just bit me on a vein on my wrist. I can't even clean it because I don't have anything to clean it with.

I'm responding a bit late, so I don't have any advice, but I'm sorry that happened to you! I hope you'll able to get the wound cleaned up eventually and that your cat will leave you alone.

The more one fails, the closer one is to success, for there is no success without failure. One can never be right without first being wrong or ignorant. Also, some tend to focus on the times they were incorrect, so I'm sure you've had plenty of instances of being correct! Whatever it is you are struggling with, don't think it's bad to mess up. Whether it be in academics or relationships, mistakes are required in order to learn.

Can you face-time her? There are also programs you can use to watch movies with people through the internet. One is called rabb.it. How about sending each other letters and packages? I know you can communicate via text and the like, but utilizing the postal service can be very fun if you get creative and involved with it.
It's awful you have to be away from her, but I'm very glad you'll get to see her again. Hang in there.

It can take a lot of time to get settled in, but as time goes on, things feel more normal and you become more accustomed to your environment, including the people (as long as they aren't bad). You are a wonderful person for doing what you can for that mouse. I know it's heartbreaking to see that a pet is dying with nothing to be done to stop it, but you are giving her very comfortable last moments, and I'm sure she is happy. I wish you many hugs and to be able to feel peace with what you did when your mouse passes.

I completely agree, what you did for that mouse is so lovely. Her last weeks were spent in a comfortable, stress free environment and that's the best thing you could have done. It's OK if you miss her and feel pain. Sending you good vibes <3

thank you and yes, i moved about 7 states away from all of my friends. lets just say i didnt have the easiest time with the move.

agh I don't know what to do. Tryouts for the play at my school are about to happen and I am interested in trying out. This would be my first year and I don't know if I can sing well or not. My friends have been doing it for awhile and want me to do it. I just don't know if I want to do it because I am nervous that I won't get a good role or I will completely fail at my monologue and song XD

Auditions are always scary! But as someone who's done it before, their's nothing to be afraid of! Just slate your name,
take a breath, get into character and just ... go. Even if you don't get a part, don't beat yourself up over it!! I know how it feels to not get a part, honestly, it's not worth beating yourself up. Sooner or later, in one play or another, you'll get a part, and even if you have 4 lines, it's still a part! Tell everyone and don't be ashamed that you only have four lines. Sometimes, the roles with only four lines are the best! Break a leg friend!
