I'm kind of super late, but I have one that happened 3 days ago.
I was wearing a Fall Out Boy shirt (the anchor one) and an upperclassman comes up to me and says, "Hey, I like your shirt!" I got super nervous and I didn't know what to say, so I said, "Thanks! I like it too!" *facepalm*
Sad thing is, that wasn't the first time I said that. ugh... this is so embarrassing for some reason... The other time I was talking to my guidance counselor and she said she liked my Nightmare Before Christmas jeans (black with one leg of white pinstripes and the other had stitched parts (why am I explaining in so much detail)) and I responded the same way. I kind of just avoided her for a week after that.
