what are some of the cringiest things you've done?

I'm kind of super late, but I have one that happened 3 days ago.

I was wearing a Fall Out Boy shirt (the anchor one) and an upperclassman comes up to me and says, "Hey, I like your shirt!" I got super nervous and I didn't know what to say, so I said, "Thanks! I like it too!" *facepalm*

Sad thing is, that wasn't the first time I said that. ugh... this is so embarrassing for some reason... The other time I was talking to my guidance counselor and she said she liked my Nightmare Before Christmas jeans (black with one leg of white pinstripes and the other had stitched parts (why am I explaining in so much detail)) and I responded the same way. I kind of just avoided her for a week after that.

Okay, so this was a really long time ago, but I thought it was a story worth sharing.

When I was in Kindergarten, we had these 'play stations'. When we were allowed to go to these stations, I would always choose the cooking station (With plastic food and stuff), and pretend I was a chef. But one day, a kid (We'll just call him 'J'), started pulling on my jacket zipper and tried taking my jacket off. The first few times he did this, I just zipped my jacket back up and continued making breakfast for the stuffed animals at the table, but after awhile it started getting annoying.. So I picked up a plastic egg and threw it at his face. I was proud of myself at first because he stopped, but then he told a teacher and we both were sent to timeout.

The worst part about this is, when I got back, the stuffed animals were gone.
They're missing.
And they're hungry.

but a really long time ago when i was really young and i cosplayed Zacharie from OFF, and oh b o y
the sweater was just a long-sleeved shirt with a really badly made heart on it, the wig was absolute garbage and the mask was literally cardboard taped together. it was terrible.
also someone took a photo and while i was trying to pose for it i literally just stood still awkwardly without even trying to pose or anything and. boy

the second time i cosplayed, i cosplayed Raikov from MGS3 and the cosplay wasn't too badly done tbh, although the clothes were a bit too big for me and the wig was too long lmao
but i was a mess at the con, i stuttered everytime i spoke, or spoke so quietly that nobody heard me, and when someone who spoke english instead of my native language asked if he could take a photo of me my english was absolutely terrible lmao
i also went to a mgs meetup and literally just sat alone in a corner because i didn't know anyone from there and answered really awkwardly whenever someone talked to me and hh
i was even more awkward than i'm now and that's certainly saying something lmao

i'm making my third cosplay this year and i'm a part of a cosplay group full of strangers, let's see if i'll manage to be as cringeworthy as i was when these happened

in 2014, i really wanted to get to know this person,

so i spammed them with 22 messages on ig. we both ended up thinking we were stalking each other ( i thought he was stalking me, he thought i was stalking him ) i avoided him for about a year and then we started actually talking. we've been on and off friends since then, and every time i fight with him, he won't let me live down the fact that i sent him 22 messages asking him what his favorite color was and how to say his last name.

about a year ago, I was at a parade and there was two boys, both around twelve or so, who came and sat directly in front of me. they were extremely loud and rude and really got on my nerves. then when the parade started literally every time a parade float came by and tossed a handfull of candy the boys would jump up and grab all the candy before I could even stand up.

about halfway through the parade, I got so angry with them I was determined to jump out and steal all the candy before they could grab it. so when the next float came by, the guy threw out only one little tootsie roll, but I was so set on taking their candy I just darted out onto the street anyway to grab it before they could. only to find... the tootsie roll was just a wrapper.

if I wasn't embarrassed enough, when I returned to my seat both of the boys started giggling and I heard one of them whisper to the other, "Ha, I knew it was only a wrapper!"
