Anxious. Sparrow just slammed into the window. Went out to take garbage out and checked on it. Seems to be alive, I think. Poor thing.

I had a really great day
Went to a neat fair and spent a couple hours there, then went exploring in spooky ghost towns
Found a really cool abandoned house in an overgrown thicket. The furniture and old soda cans on the floor made me think no one had lived there since the 70s but the house was very solidly built. It was the first abandoned house where I actually trusted the stairs enough to go to the second floor, and then I found the stairs to the attic!!!
Lemme just tell you there is something incredibly spooky about dark attics with long forgotten toys and clothes laying all over the place, mixed with a large amount of hay (??), dirt and anomal droppings. Pretty sure there were transients living up there at some point too.
Literally made my week. Such a cool place. Old, ornate radiators in every other room, fridges, TVs and couches still in place, rusted boxsprings still in the bedrooms, there was even a lightbulb still intact in the cellar.
Things never deteriorate on the plains, so there are just ghost towns and abandoned houses everywhere where people obviously died rather than moving away.

I'd explore more abandoned stuff here but a lot of it that's visible from the road has no trespassing signs :(

kinda irritated. went out with a friend that's been gone for a month and a half and all she did was talk on the phone with her boyfriend
I know you haven't seen him for a while, but come on. we've been friends a lot longer and who's gonna be here when he dumps you for his mission? me. not him.

and I'm sticking with color guard for marching band and I just got the news that our two old captains are coming back and no! you have graduated! get a life! stop hanging around high school! you two were absolutely horrible captains and we do not want you as instructors too!

also stressed because school starts tomorrow and I haven't started my homework and it's currently 6pm SCREAMS
