and i feel like things between us have been awkward in the past few days. it's like there's an elephant in the room that we need to address but neither of us want to or can.
i want to ask if things are okay but i'm scared of how they'll react.

Annoyed but a little scared, I guess.
There's a mouse or something scratching around in my closet and it's really loud. It's been doing this for a while now and I don't think I can sleep with that annoying noise. I'm kinda scared because any little sound like that will make me nervous this late at night. Oh well.
EDIT: I think it stopped, so maybe I can actually sleep now.
