Welcome, Kat!
I've been doing archery for about a year, now. Dad's just gotten a new job, though, which keeps getting in the way ( ) so I haven't been for at least a month Image
Mum just searched the calendar and we'll have a Monday free in, like, a month Image
Ah well

Aw, that sucks, =( I've gone weeks without going to the club because life just gets in the way unfortunately! But it only makes even more satisfying when the wait is finally over and we get to shoot! =D
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward.
So when life is dragging you back with difficulties,
it means that its going to launch you into something great.
So just focus, and keep aiming.

I generally use a: Recurve, though I own a longbow. Haven't shot it for ages due to not having money for arrows and not really being able to get out to shoot as much as I would like to these days.
I use a: Handmade Longbow (Uncle is a woodsmith/Blacksmith and made me one like 5 years ago.) And I think the Recurve my uncle has is a Martin something... I can't remember. I would need to ask him.
    I am: Right handed.

I was introduced to shooting arrows by a friend's dad, and I kind of privately taught myself how to shoot from there, shooting into the back fence with plastic ones till maybe a year or two ago. I only got my longbow... last year sometime? Yeah, pretty much a newbie in the archery field. I have always admired archers though.

Ok, so, for starters, I fell in love with archery when I went to camp as a kid (I'm now an older teen). I had never done archery before and managed to hit a bulls-eye with my third arrow. I got my first bow, a junior longbow (it was much to small for me but became great for practice and strengthening my skills), a few years later and continued falling in love with archery. :D ;)

I have now inherited a gorgeous white recurve bow from my grandfather. it's a Filly if that means anything to anyone...

So if you have not guessed, I know hardly anything about archery. A friend who shoots taught me how to do everything and I have certificate for three beginner lessons that I have yet to use. I want to learn absolutely everything I can and become as knowledgeable and skilled as possible so I will take all advice, tips and knowledge!!! :D
(I cqn post a picture of my bow tomorrow if anyone wants to see it)
