I generally use a: Long-bow. But I'm still getting used to the change from the club's Recurves
I use a: 25 poundage bow, but I'm still getting used to it. The club bows I was using were eighteens and twenties.
I am: Right-handed

We should add hand to the form, so people can compare notes! It's hard to find a nice left or ambidextrous bow, and I'd love to find others to talk to about those.

I generally use a: RECURVE, COMPOUND
I use a: Not sure what my compound is set to, but my new recurve is supposed to be a 20#.
I am:Ambidextrous, shooting both hands.

My new recurve (a PSE Razorback) should have come in today, but it's being delivered to my school. I also have an Easton Genesis compound. I am ambidextrous... my compound is a left, my recurve is a right.

Watched Battle of the Five Armies on Saturday, and to be honest Bard's shooting was awesome! He even did it sideways! Even though I knew the arrows couldn't do anything to Smaug I was just like: "Yeah! Go get 'im, Bard!"

Skipped archery again on Monday Dad can't be bothered going 'til February

He at least lets me keep my bow inside so I can draw it now and then to strengthen my arm.

When're you going back? Or have you been doing it through the holidays?

I want to try archery, but I know very little about it. I have a bow (I bought it for a costume, but it is a real bow, about 3 feet long). Where can I get some more information? Any advice for beginners?

If I were you I'd have a look around and see if there're lessons anywhere near you, and if there aren't hope you've got a large enough property and buy a target + arrows. (Or you could even make a target. Mine's made of old carpet lol ) Archery Direct has supplies, but it's a New Zealand company, so yeah...
Oh, and the most important advice: don't shoot anyone. XD
