So, I told the kid I'm babysitting the general plot idea of my NaNo
"Demons trying to be good and save the world"
As first, he reaction I got was "omg no agent demons arent good guys wth"
But then he decided that demons actually weren't that bad, since they were "born from angels' bodies"
Whelp. Muse away!

I have 15K, I need 30K by tomorrow.

It's very easily doable.
I did it two years ago. xD
I locked myself in the basement with my laptop and a box of m&ms. Every 500 words, I got to eat an m&m.
Sure, i was quite sick of m&ms by the time I reached 51k, but... I did it. xD
Seems like I'm going to have to do this again. Might need different incentive though. Like chunks of mango. o3o

Now it's not food.

I have a PS3 in my room. I also have two Assassins Creed games to complete. I'm going back to my tactic of writing for 5 minutes every half hour. Every time I hit 2000 words, I'll allow myself a full hour of Assassins Creed time. So pretty much, during my 5 minute sprints, if I type like a crazy person, I'll get to play Assassins Creed quicker.

It's very doable, Dia... except I'm very easily distracted. Especially by food. And, well.... it's Thanksgiving. XD

I have a writing tactic!

What I found works, is use a timer. You can find some online. I set it for 6 or 7 minutes (depends how fast you write and how much you need to get done. Start the timer, and write till you get 100 words. The rest of the time you can do whatever you want, but as soon as the timer goes off you have to start again. So the faster you write, the more time you have to do what you want. If you set it to 6 minutes then you'd have at least 1k in an hour. And I usually end up going a bit over 100 words each time, because I have another sentance in mind or something.

Anyways, that works for me sometimes. I end up switching tactics all the time though.
