Im wondering if it's too late to join this now.. i really don't think i'll make it to 50,000 words but i guess i'll see what i can do ;D

Which brings me to my dilemma - I still haven't reached my goal.
BUT: luckily, the Regional Forum is full of awesome people who say awesome things, and...
they really gave me new hope, motivation, determination for the weekend.
12k in 1 1/2 days? Oh please, in good times I sometimes write those in a single day!
'Let's do this', my characters said, and... Let's do this - that's exactly what I'm thinking now.
If I don't get to the 40k 'til Sunday, 11:59pm (my timezone)... I need to think of a punishment xD

Although I won't be able to write this night.
Damn, why did I promise my friends I'd be there to watch a film with them?
If I don't go now, I... oh I CAN'T go. I feel like such a bad person now ;_;
I hate disappointing my friends, but I just can't... I couldn't write last night because my father took away my laptop, and if I don't do anything this night I'll totally fall behind.

You could do what I do.
Bring a notebook EVERYWHERE.
Write in the car.
Write in line at the grocery store.
Write during lunch.
Write at friend's houses. (Just make sure you talk to them while you do)

But you are nearly at 30k you are not behind at all.

I'm so behind. I have about 4, 000 words. But I'm not aiming for the 50 k, more like 20/30, as I'm trying to put quality writing in instead.

I'm behind what I set as my personal goal, and that hurts my pride more than anything else.
Because I've promised myself and my characters that I'd do it, I'd reach the 40k this Sunday, just like I reached the 20k last Sunday.
And so far I have not. I haven't found time, or motivation, or both.
And for a person with an ego the size of mine, this is fatal.
I'm terrible at losing, even if I don't actually compete with anyone. That's what I'm talking about.
And now I'm about to let down my friends for a night of writing.
I would, I will. But I feel horrible for it.

I have gotten to the point, where writing scenes where it hurts the characters hurt me, and i start getting really slow up to that scene, slowing down, procasinating.

Which is bad, cause i plan on having lots of scenes that hurt the main character
