His first move was a simple thrust outwards and then a blocking movement to the right. He darted to the left and brought his sword up, slicing his imaginary oppnent’s arm. He spun around and sliced while he was at it, imagining that if he were surrounded, he would’ve gotten them all.
He held his sword in a tight grip in front of him and then took a few steps backwards and then took a running start. He then leapt over the imaginary bad guys, flipping in the air and then he swung around the face them.
He continued with that on for several more minuites, before he came to a stop. Where was Jenny? Had anything happened to her? The boy bit his lip and then made his sword fizzle away. He looked in the direction that Jenny had left in the previous night as he wondered what to do. She did say for him to stay here, that she’d come for him.
But what if something had happened to her? Then she couldn’t come for him and he’d never know! That made his mind up. He started walking in the same direction that Jenny had left in.
He was walking for a while, hoping he hadn’t got lost when the smell of smoke hit his nose. His eyes widened in worry. Was her house on fire? Was she in the fire, calling out for him to rescue him, only for him to be too late?
No! Joesamaic thought firmly, I’ll rescue you Jenny!
He started to sprint towards the smell, not stopping for anything else when he finally saw something. It was a house made out of some kind of creamy coloured materials.
Walking up closer to the house he ran his hand along it. It was like several different blocks stuck together with some kind of glue. Wasn’t that a bit hazardous? Glueing your house together?
His eyes could see that the house was not on fire, no where near it, actually. There was, however, a chimney poking out top of the house with smoke chugging out of it.
Ok. Now he felt a bit silly for thinking that. He shouldn’t have leaped to a decision like that…
“AHH!” a scream pierced the air from around the side.
The scream sounded like Jenny! Joesamaic
