Haha! XD Thanks
And they only have a large vocabulary because they are the youngest, and since we have 10 people in our family, they tend to pick up on talk, even if they don't really know what it means XD

Ha ha! That parody-song is so great!

Anyway, my characters are all based in Victorian England, so they can get away with saying things like 'popinjay'.

I'm so used to using words people would think were obscure or big vocabulary. The other day I was talking to my mom and she was like 'What type of word is that? I've never heard that.' In her defense it was kind of an old word, as in not used much in conversation nowadays, though I don't remember what word it was exactly.

P.S. I ran out of music to listen to, so now I'm writing to Christmas music X3 It's quite relaxing actually.

I never use any decent words in speech though I am unsure why, I am just for some unexplainable reason, terrible at talking to people, I'm much better at typing. However, in my writing I often use a vocabulary that astounds me- sometimes I even find myself checking a word to make sure I used it correctly and sure enough I did though I didn't even know I knew it.

Nearly 2,000 words tonight, and I just got to use 'callipygian' in a sentence.

Up to 40 pages. This is going well.

I never use 'big' words in speech, although I know a lot, and I'm terrible at pronouncing stuff. Bleh.

I rarely use big fancy words. I hate it when I'm reading and there's a ton of weird words used when there's a simpler alternative. There are some occasions when some giant word is the best word to convey a meaning or give a particular feel, but it's not that common. Depending on my characters, though, some of them might have a more expansive vocabulary or a different way of speaking that they would use different words, so I'll use it for their dialogue.

Usually, if I'm using fancy words, it's because I'm making a ton of stuff up and trying to convince someone something stupid is true so I say a bunch of scientific words that sound good. And I only do that to about three people because one thinks it's funny and the other two believe me.

GUYS GUYS

We're almost halfway there! This is exciting. But I don't think I'm halfway through my story. Huh.

I'm at 22425. I think once we hit halfway, it will suddenly seem less daunting.

My hands are really cold and stiff because of that. Argh. Harder to type fast...

I just shot past today's goal by a few hundred words and I was thinking that I wouldn't even make it. Why must I get all my inspiration just before midnight?
