I'm so behind. I'm looking at 8-9 thousand words behind.

I totally write when I'm hanging out with friends. Of course, they're very well aware that if I come over or if we're going out, the computer is coming with me and I will be adding to my word count. Or if a computer is impractical, I'll bring a notebook and write by hand, which I don't have a problem doing since I'm pretty good at transcribing, and then I always end up adding words when I do that.

Check the computer for Wordpad. It should be on there (unless it's a Mac maybe) and you can easily write in that, although it doesn't have all the cool fancy features as MS Word. Although my first thought is, "Who doesn't have Word?" But it's like my favorite program ever, so I'm biased there.

Just got on a roll and now I have to pick my mom up at church! Bringing the computer!

@ Dragonsrule Awesome! She split a kid in half! I can definitly feel the insanity brewing. It's very much like a crazy dream.

Tea.for.Two, is your family making fun of your writing? Are any of them writers? I highly doubt it, as real writers aren't mean about other's hard work. Maybe they are just giving constructive critism, and you're taking it to hard. But in any case, only your opinion matters. Rough drafts are always horrible. I know I never share anything until it's edited at least twice. Just don't show it to them, that's my advice. And anyway, your characters sound very interesting, and your having fun which is all that matters!

Also, good luck on catching up everyone! I got pretty far today. I might almost be caught up!

My character's luck is awful. First he runs away from home and a violent winter nearly kills him. Then a wolf mauls him, another character beats him up, he nearly falls of a cliff, he goes blind in one eye, he fights off another character, he's being chased, and now he's fallen in love with someone who hates him. Don't know if I meant for any but the first of those to happen. Oh and he's been hit in the head by various objects on several occasions.

I just wrote something, it was only like, 30 words, but I wrote something for a new project. NO. NOT GOOD.

Basically what's happened to my character so far:
She has learned that one of her only friends, one from her dreams (which is rather pathetic), has a death wish
She's been abandoned by said friend.
Since her Dream friend hadn't been there to redirect the course of her dream, she had a nightmare, where a dude broke into her house, and then, wakes up to said guy breaking into her house, having been carted from her nightmare into reality by her ability.
He's broken in, then, come upstairs. She's called 911, by the time the police are there, he's disappeared since he wasn't properly brought to reality.
Her parents get fined for calling 911 when there isn't an emergency (no sign of break in, no guy in house, etc), she has to make money up.
Gets scared so badly by that event that she doesn't sleep for a few days, starts to feel the effects of sleep deprivation, namely extreme tiredness, lack of attention, paranoia, headaches, etc..
Sees suicidal dream friend in real life, and, unaware of her ability to bring dreams to reality, is not quite sure how he exists, chases him, he disappears, she's certain she's gone off the deep end and hallucinated him.
Goes to sleep, dreams of events that happen the next day, and also dreams up a Terror. Gets chased by it for a bit after finding Noah, her dream friend, again, in real life. Gets taken into the Dream Realm by said Terror with Noah, gets out again.
Once they're somewhere safe, he explains whats been happening to her (but not very well-- Dreams Stalkers aren't very good at explaining), and Aerin, le MC, gets thrown into an awkward loop. In her dreams, since she was certain Noah wasn't real (of course, just a random slightly attractive boy in yo' dreams), she had a fairly romantic relationship with him but now that she realizes he's very much real, this makes it all extremely awkward, since she feels she doesn't really know Noah.
Blargh, through some events, Aerin unwittingly puts Noah in worse trouble with his elders, and they are forced back into Reality. Because of some time shenanigans involving Reality and the Dream Realm running on different time circuits, its several months in the future and that's problematic, since that means she's just disappeared for a few months. Noah drops her off in reality and goes back to le Dream Realm.
Aerin goes back home, police are pretty sure that she had been kidnapped since that's the story she's going with, but she becomes really withdrawn, having no details to share with the police and nobody to tell about her escapade in the dream realm. She doesn't have dreams, being an infrequent dreamer.

Anyway, she dreams again, and its a nightmare, and she's stuck in this horrible nightmare where she can't get out, and she keeps trying to get away from these Terrors, which keep her stuck in their dream so they can exploit her connection and go to Reality. Noah manages to get to her and helps her focus her mind and get somewhere safe.
She's told to stay in the Dream Realm, because even though it is far from safe in there, its safer than in Reality. Noah kisses her, disappears, leaves her confused and staring.
Then, and this is basically what just happened in the last few thousand words: She gets attacked by the dreamscape and ends up wandering a whitewashed demon forest XD Then she finds the boy, tries to roll him over, and he splits in half.
EFF LOGIC.

*Pant pant* Finally found a computer with Microsoft Word! Yay! I need to start writing, so far I've written 0 words today XD.

I beat my first year goal by 12,000 words. But I'm so tempted to just say I quit. I don't want to, but I don't think I'm ever going to catch up in time for validation. It's not like I have a writer's block, more like I have no drive to write anymore. I've only wrote 55 words today. -_-;

This mood might pass later. >.<

Yay, I've written 284 words today so far! (Which is good since I just found a computer and my friend's little sister keeps asking me to play games with her.) That brings me to 20,294 words, ugh, I'm cutting it close today...
