I signed up, but I probably won't get all 50k. ono; I'm not really sure /why/ I signed up. The thought of writing out my comic before drawing it seemed like a good idea...

...and a time consuming one.
I'm back. :^)

I'm doing the youth program, but my goal will probably be at least 30,000 words.

I'm doing it for the first time this year, and shooting for the 50K. I want to write out an idea with a pretty complex plot I've had in mind, but I'm debating just focusing on a couple of characters to make it less confusing. Knowing me, though, I'll change plot half-way through November.

I'm mostly worried that I'll get a sudden urge to draw, or some plot bunny I can't use, or just get a black in general, so I'm currently trying to get drawing/drabbles out of my system.

I just joined now. I have an idea for a story, but it will need some major elaborating.

That sounds really cool! I already started writing a book and I have two chapters already, so I guess I could just not count those... I really don't want to start something else...
It started and ended with a man.

I did this last year, and I think I finished around 1,500 or something. I wanted to go to 3,000 because I can type really fast (last year I did it ALL HAND - WRITTEN) and I thought it would actually be a challenge. But, of course, I actually have school, so I can't spend all day writing like the adults can.

@meerkatgirl : Actually, you can start a novel which you're already a bit into. I'm already about 3 pages into this book which I started a little bit ago. The thing is, I already have a plot, the characters, what's going to happened at the end... *sigh* I plan too much.

I've been participating in NaNo since 2008. ^^ This year I've got a lot of school things, so I don't think I'll hit the 50,000... I haven't yet, but each year I get a little further along. I'll probably shoot for 30,000-35,000 this year, since that's about what I got last year.

I'm doing it for the first time this year and have a great plot idea. Now I've just got to keep myself motivated to write 2,000 words or so a day so I can make my goal of 50,000. I also have to not get distracted by my other story which I've been writing since I was 13 and keep on revising- hopefully this will give me some better writing experience that I can apply to that. :]
Kitty & Pip
Himno de Aragón
Resplandece el tiempo;
llega ya la edad
para que la piedra sea manantial,
de enlazar nuestras vidas
y entonar las voces.
Shine time;
arrives at the age
for the stone to be spring
to link our lives
and singing voices.
