So a few weeks ago I got assigned a poem to evaluate for homework which I neglected until tonight because I just couldn't be arsed, but anyway I read it today and I legitimately cried. The poem is "Ode on Melancholy" by John Keats and it's such a beautiful poem about how to deal with sadness, and the imagery is lovely and I just...I've never been told not to kill myself by a poem before and it just hit me in the feelings and made me so happy! I just want to copy it out, do little drawings around it and put it up in my room, it's literally my favourite poem I've ever read and I'm so happy I got assigned it <333

i got to visit my grandparents today and spend time with them
while i volunteered at their house for a minimum of five hours c:
i loved helping out with their christmas decorating and yard-work,
since they have done so much for me. it's nice to give something in
return. along with that, my friend helped with my grandparents &
i was able to spend time with her as well. we were just outside her
house ( waiting for her mom to get back ) and the next door neighbor
had two dogs who kept staring through the opened door, it was hilarious.
& we drove around the neighborhood to view the many christmas lights!
so, in short, visiting grandparents/friends, christmas lights, and dogs.
