I'm volunteering at a preschool for the deaf/HoH this summer. Today, one of the girls in my class noticed my hearing aid at LOST IT. She didn't know that 'big kids' could have hearing devices and she thought it was the coolest thing ever. She told me that she wanted a hearing aid exactly like mine when she grew up (mine is a colorbomb, by the way. I have no shame).

Later that day, I was reading to one boy from an animal picture book and slowly, the entire class swarmed me to the point where there was no room for anyone else to see the pictures, so one boy asked if he could sit on my lap.

I am honored by small children.

I was just finding that looking at the "Latest Posts" in here in Chickensmoothie, was quite fun and entertaining. But when you think about it, that's makes up a partial part of my day, as I will make my day by spending an all nighter (well untill 5:00-6:00) doing whatever upstairs in my room with this laptop and my phone!

The doctors said my ribs are healing and my wrist is gonna be just fine~ (they also said to look both ways before crossing a street next time, what a bunch of sassy lassies!!!)

my neighbor has a white Korean Jindo dog who was rescued from a Korean slaughter house and he's the cutest thing. He's so shy and I feel so bad but he honestly made me really happy when he licked my hand.
He's such a cute boy and I hope he opens up to me soon

I got a haircut today! Surprisingly, it looks better than the last time I got it cut in a similar style.
Definitely going to have Bria cut my hair when I'm in town.
