this made like my whole life tbh, not just my day.
i crashed my car off the highway going 80 in the middle of heading from arkansas to new mexico and totally ruined it, and this older couple saw me, turned around, loaded all my stuff into their already packed car (they were returning from a road trip), and took me home with them. i've spent 2 nights with them and they've been some of the best people i've ever met. they've been feeding me, spending hours to help me look for a car, taking me out to see some, and driving me around to all the famous local spots (including the cadillac ranch)! like i honestly would have no idea what i would have done stranded in the middle of nowhere without them.

One of my aunts & cousin came to visit and I spent both yesterday and today with them! We went to the zoo and saw a baby giraffe and it was soooo adorable. We also saw a mountain lion that kept licking the glass haha
