Yes, I guess you could say I am a loner, but I feel more lonely in a crowed room with boring people than I feel on my own.

I wanted to share my advice on sorting out your homework and making sure you hand it in on time!

HOMEWORK

I would recommend buying a weekly planner or whiteboard with monday - sunday on.

Put it next to your bed, on the wall or on your desk - somewhere that you will look at often so you always see it :)

Write on it the days when homework needs to be handed in - for example if you need to hand in Geography homework on thursday, you would write hand in geography homework in huge letters on thursday!

Whenever you get homework, write down a reminder to hand it on on its due date and then plan when you can do that homework- if you are busy on monday and tuesday, make sure you write DO GEOGRAPHY HOMEWORK on wednesday so you remember!

By planning out your homework like this you can manage your time and make sure you don't have all your homework to do on the same day or leave it all until sunday night!

I hope this helps some of you! I know some of it seems quite obvious but I really want to help someone! If you have any advice on homework, studying and planning homework please share!

I'm still in middle school, but if there is one thing I've learned in these couple years is education first, then social life. Make sure you have friends that take their education seriously because in the future, it most likely won't matter what you wear, how pretty you are, or how many friends you have. It depends on what you have learned and how you use it.

I agree with this :)
So many people at my school spend all their time trying to be popular and going to parties that they don't do well in school :/
And one of my friends declined an offer to move into top set (where you get taught more, by better teachers, and get higher grades) because she wanted to stay with the popular kids in her set and didn't want to seem uncool and nerdy!

After school, most of the 'popular' kids are going to regret wasting all their times when they are stuck with bad grades/results and can't get good jobs..

I'm going from homeschool to public high school next school year.. I only have one friend in my grade, and she will be going to that school with me. Only a few of her friends will be attending that high school. I'm just so nervous about going there. ;_; It's a huge school. Can I have some advice?
Best of wishes

As long as you dont sit in the corner, your bound to make friends. Like in some classes just make small talk, like even asking what there doing for there assignment or that looks like an inresting book whats it about. Even pairing up with someone new you didnt even think have the same intrests could turn out to be your best friend. Go to clubs that semi intrest you and might find people with the same intrests. Dont be afriend to stay behind at lunch to get help or finish work as it does help you in the long run and even could make you a new friend. Like this time in art class a few people needed/wanted more time to work on there work including me, we turned it into a friend club and place you didnt have to worry about being judged (it was called art club but we didnt do much other then goof off and hang out). We had pot lucks for christmas, end year, halloween...well when ever we could plan it realy (mostly junk food we brought in), teacher even bought us pizza once (one of the best teachers ever), we did scare other peopleaway who joined one day and never showed up again...we were weird and didnt care (well we only acted like that in that room .) teacher trusted us in the room alone if she was in the school.... because she wasnt allowed to let us in if she was out of the building so are club hanged out in the halls when are club got little to big forone table in the cafe..

Yep test schudles are plan werid like the teachers had a meeting to have all the tests the same day or week XD Never fall to far behind in work as it will be hard to catch up and bite you in the but later.

Also depends were you go to school how good the cafeteria food is. Mine was awsome all made fresh from the culinary. From cakes (cheese cake, chocolate cake and others), pudding/jellow/muse cups, salades (one with ham, beef, cheese, egg, and vinigrate sauce), chicken thingers with homemade honey dill sauce, chicken raps, burgers with bacon, pizza, suacey chicken nugget things, frys and potuine. umm cinimon buns, cheese buns, chicken burger, soups, cookies, and there was gourmet friday (old people come to eat there... )like fancy breads, fudge, octopuse and other stuff I cant name at the moment.

Me and my friend once sat at the back of the class room (till teachers swapped room part way into the semester) she said it was like being the main charater in an anime sitting at the back of the room next to a window... the new room didnt have a window sadly :/ we once saw a chicken in the parking lot or a realy fat/huge raven and we live in the city.. so no chickens here not even legal

Also if you get the chance do the 30 hour famine best time of your life. You hang out all night running around a locked school till 12 am (though you dont eat you drink soo much juice you have suger energy) then at least at my school the janiotor takes you on a tour about old things about the school and ghost stories and rumours. Then your stuck in a smaller area like the gym or somthing as then only one teacher or two is on duty unless need to go change/us washroom then you get to leave.you could ethier play cards, read, watch movies on lap top, talk or sleep then get breakfist made in the mourning.

So try new things, keep up your studing as its what counts towards your career, and have fun/hang with people you like and it will be some of your best years

Alright, I'm in high school and I really want to be online schooled. I've actually wanted to since seventh grade. I have plenty of reasons why, from my anxiety, to grades. Public school just hasn't worked for me, and my grades show it(though I take one online class and I have an A in that class. Online just seems to work better for me); I have panic attacks frequently because of it. Any suggestions on how to get my parents to agree to online school? I've already started a powerpoint filled with reasons why it would help me.

I hope it's fine if I am posting this here. I'd love to hear any tips or ideas anyone has. Thanks c:

Have you looked into if universitys, collegies in your area accept online high school education? Maybe showing you parents what the course looks like the acutaul website so they get the idea behind it/what it would look like and you would be getting the same education and learning. Maybe show them people who have had sucess with online courses and stuff.
