i got a text and it startled me because nobody ever has any reason to text me via iMessage. i mean i don't even have a phone, i have an iPad. it just starts making these noises and i must've jumped 3 feet into the air. and then i see this notification with a random number and freak out about who it is and how they even contacted me. but it's just one of my school friends asking about a homework assignment.
i'm crying
but no, the best part is when my personalities switch and i'm suddenly really talkative and my friend is like "who are you and what have you done with the robot"

That was a really fun few hours of killing dinos.

Wait hours, when did that happen...

Met some really nice people, hopefully gonna do it again soon. We worked out a great system. Plus I actually feel useful as support class for once, 'cause everyone's always getting in trouble or banging up their tank or heli. lol PLS LET ME FEEL WANTED


Best moment was undoubtedly wave 9 (B base, so technically wave 19) in the 3rd conquest game. It was getting redikulous (ah, ah?), there were so many dinos everywhere and so much sheer chaos; legit all I could do for 5+ minutes was run, because I had a whole horde of raptors and a Spino after me. I'd been playing with my default shotgun and magnum loadout the entire session, so I could only take potshots when I felt I'd gotten ahead enough. That shotgun is OP for headshots at a good distance.

I was the only player on the ground, the others were cuddling close to their VTOLs and a mech. Fine by me since I was the support, healin' all ur hurts and engie'ing all ur machines. Though suddenly I realized it was just me and the other support in his heli; everyone else had died. And the gen had been down for a long while. There were literally 10 seconds left! I put on my game face and booked it across the field, dino horde in tow (hah! the puns), clock ticking down the meanwhile. I felt that support watching me as he cleared the way before me with missiles. I whipped out my utility gun and, I kid you not, repaired the gen at the very last second.

He then told me he almost pissed himself with the suspense.

Wave 10 had even more dinos and chaos, but I don't think there will ever again be a moment as great as the end of wave 9.

Best game I've ever had. Most intense game I've ever had, without being distressingly so. The experience is way different when you have teammates you can count on. And more manned vehicles than you could ever dream of but eh, that just made the game progress faster. >u> Man, that was fun. I really needed that. This game has gotten significantly better with the upgrades and fixes since the last horrific upgrade. I'm glad to see mature people still play it, rather than the masses of jerky children who came in with the Xbox upgrade and the price drop to 99 cents.
