Confirmation Sunday in a few snapshots, with a class of 6 boys and myself (one of approximately 68k Kates in existence)

Pastor (to my mentor): She's wearing a dress, so be careful (about pulling her up from the kneelers). If they boys fall, they won't be flashing anyone.
Another (male) Seeker (being confirmed): Challenge accepted.

Other Seeker: Here, in case Kate breaks down. *holds up half-used pack of tissues*

Pastor: (Other Seeker) has made it his mission to make me laugh when I'm preaching.
Other Seeker: And I'm good at it too!

Youth Sponsor: Get together, hoodlums. And Kate.

Pastor: Sometimes, no matter how hard someone tries, they are always late.
Pastor: Kate is nodding her head.

Other Pastor: See, here, from the young ones up here to the chronologically gifted out there...

My bird has a habit of making a beeline for me whenever I get home from school, it certainty is a nice surprise after a tiring day. She also likes to just poof up and sleep on me, kinda hard to do anything when it's a rule you can't move when an animal is sleeping on you~

Our morning routine is also kinda funny, whenever my alarm goes off she starts beeping her little head off to get me to uncover her cage so she can fly onto me and make adorable noises. Hard to believe this little fluffball will be a year on may 17
