- the media casually ignoring hate crimes when they've been committed by a white dude against three young people who were muslim.
honestly, if it were the other way around people would be so up in arms ugh
literally, more shootings/killings have been committed by white dudes. i.e. sandy hook, the movie theater shooting, the one with the kid who wrote an entire manifesto abt how he hated women, et. al. not to mention hate crimes against african americans and other poc
not even going to mention how a killer had a top-grossing movie made about him smh.
i have the greatest respect for the military and navy- heck, my dad's in the navy, just like both my grandfathers (all of them immigrants, and one of them a muslim, i should note)- but this dude literally killed women and children, used pretty awful slurs, and said that his only regret was not killing more people? let's get real here
