So me and my boyfriend have been dating for 7 months now ^^, and he is a senior whos headed off to college. He said that he might go to a college thats kind of far, if not out of the state.. which is where problems kick in. He said he doesn't want to have to go through the stress, and everything else about distant relationships cause he doesn't want to wait every couple of months. Its just... if we do break up.. and if he does end up leaving to go off to college..... what then? How should I deal with the fact of knowing he will go one day and soon we will have to break up..?

I went through a slightly similar situation. The difference was we are the same age and he decided junior year was the time to break it off in advance to leaving for college. At the time, I was devastated. I know how difficult it can be and I am so sorry you have to deal with it. But after a while I realized what I had gained. It is not worth the emotional pain you will go through. When you know it is not meant to last, it is better that it ends sooner than later. This way you don't have the dread in your heart because you know you are running out of time. This doesn't have to be the case, but I would talk to him and let him know how you feel. Be honest. I am now in college and I am in a committed relationship with said ex's best friend (whoops) who goes to a different college, but we are very honest with each other and know we do not want to ever split. You should save your time and love for someone who will want to be with you, no matter how difficult it gets. Remember, you don't have to follow this advice, just some friendly insight. can i get advice on how to get over someone?

okay before you even say anything - it wasn't a relationship. i just saw this guy..
and i fell for him. we never talk, ever, and i'm pretty sure i've made a bad first
impression of myself and he'll probably never talk to me. he's popular and i'm very
socially awkward. point is, it's an impossible relationship. there's no way he'll fall
for me and that's 99% fact, he's surrounded with girls that are prettier, funnier,
more popular, and probably just overall better people?? but my imagination is
a dangerous thing haha just simple eye contact with him drives me crazy and
it's just ughhh. it's pathetic that i fell for someone whom i don't even know personally
and someone i've talked to only once in my life. i need to get over him before
i self destruct even more and send myself into an endless loop of despair, lol

i know that if i stopped seeing him my brain would eventually forget about
him and move on, but i can't help it. i see him everyday and what's worse is
that it's just small glimpses of him everywhere like in the hallways or in the canteen
at lunch. it's torturous and super annoying. i really don't know how to deal with
this. thanks to anyone who can help!

I'm so happy, things seem to be going really well in our relationship!! (Our developing friendship) we've become pretty close.

Although his friends are hiding something from me. His best friends girlfriend who's one of my best friends will only ever say "does it matter if you know if you know if its good news?" Whenever I ask, So I'm not too worried since its not bad. Although I can't help but wonder.

so, i'm i recently started a new high school n' been accepted to the JV girl's
basketball team. there's this girl, lets call her angel, in varsity, who's a year
older than me, and i have completely fallen for her. here's the thing, though
we do practice together, we don't really talk much and i do not have a clue
on how to break the ice to her. sure i've asked her about the drills we do n'

But, there's a slight "issue" he lives about 30 minutes away from me, which I don't have a problem with.. But he does??? Advice?

personally, I would address the issue with him openly and ask him what exactly is wrong with distance. If the problem is because you aren't able to see each other/meet up as often, I'd try to find a common area to meet up that's in the middle of both houses. Please correct me if the issue is something different ^^. If the issue is because of homecoming, I would ask him if he's willing to go the distance to pick you up.

When you say 30 minutes do you mean like in a nearby town or across the neighborhood? Also, is that by walking or driving?
If its walking it shouldn't be a big deal. If you guys want to hang out just take turns walking to each others houses. I would recommend getting a bike.
