So.... I happen to like this guy at my school. Let's call him J. My friend told her friend to tell J I liked him, and I'm pretty sure J knows now. Today he sat conveniently right behind me or across from me, and kept glancing my way. My friend told me I should put a note in his locker telling him I like him, is that a good idea?

What do you mean "good idea"? Look, a note's not going to hurt him. Most likely the worse that could happen is you end up a little embarrassed. So if you want to leave a note, do it. If you don't, then you don't have to.

Why does A keep making weird jokes with me?

Not that I'm uncomfortable, but it's weird.

AHH. i'm so frustrated with myself. there's this guy i like
and like i know from experience that is totally 100% out of
my league but my brain is like NOPE screw you we're gonna
have a huge gigantic crush on him anyways! i can't even
talk to him because i'm a socially awkward pile of mess
and i get really nervous when i'm around him. he's in only
one of my classes but i always see him around when we
walk past each other in the halls and i can't stop myself
from looking for him whenever i can. he's one of those
"popular" guys, i guess, and he's friends with a lot of
people. there's no way he'd even consider me, at all.
i'd be surprised if he even knew my name to be honest. xD
whenever i look at him i always see him staring back
at me but that's probably just my mind playing tricks
on me. i have noo idea how to deal with this. sobs

If he already knows, he should say something about it. If he's showing signs of interest, you should act on it. A note may or may not help you.

Trust me, in junior high I felt the exact same way, man. I had so many crushes on popular people, and tbh, I still get those every now and then. If you sit near him, then I suggest talking to him. My teachers at my junior high had this thing where you pass papers back to the end of the row while taking one for yourself, so I sat behind my boyfriend [current one whom i did not date in junior high] and he'd pass the papers back to me, while teasing me and dropping the papers on purpose. I'd always tease him back, and that's when we started talking and stuff like that. If you don't sit near him, then I suggest trying to find a way to find him where you can tell him. I swear to you, I had some horrible problems with doing this. I could never do it. I was so scared, man. I don't know why, it's just literal 3 words. I don't know why. I just suggest doing that, but it's just way easier to say than do.

YES. I had so many friends tease me for liking my neighbor at this one time. I told 1 person, and she told her mom and her friends and it was just widespread panic for everyone. They kept calling him a jerk, but only to them he was. To me, he was a gentle and loving soul who was good to me. I never fessed up, though. Whatever.

Anyway, I get it! I had those, too. Like, not talking to him makes you feel horrible and talking to him is just one of those little floaty things in your head that you don't want to pay attention to ;-; I seriously understand your fear for that because I seriously get those when talking to random people. I guess it's just all in our heads, right? [Hopefully?]
Or maybe you won't be the first one to talk. Maybe it'll be him.
