It sounds like she's just teasing you to me, but if you're really worried, then get serious. Send her an honest text about how you're feeling.

Ohmigod I know exactly what you are going through. There's a guy that I sorta kinda like (idk) and when he texts me I am this super happy person, but if he doesn't I'm irritable and miserable, and I hate that I'm not able to control my emotions over a stupid guy.
You have two major options that I can think of. First, actually try to date him. Tell him you like him, and see how he responds; who knows he may like you back too and away happy endings! If you don't want to be with him or even like him anymore, I would recommend try spending less time with him. Think of him just as a friend don't tempt yourself by talking to him as much.
I don't know how much help this is, but feel free to pm me and rant if you like I'll always listen

So this issue just came up today, well peaked today and it's more about my friends. Two of my friends are a thing, the girl I have known for quite a while, but we aren't the the best of friends anymore, and the guy and I have known each other for a while but haven't really been friends until last school year, but we are really good friends now. I say they are a thing because it's just kinda a mess; everyone has acknowledged essentially that they are dating, but the guy refuses to make it official because in the fall they are going to different schools and he doesn't want to wreck their friendship, and privately told me he wants to talk to her about it. However, the girl has told me privately that she wants to officially ask him out in this big elaborate way, and that's where I don't know what to do. I don't really want to do anything because it's not really my business or problem, but I can't help but imagine how awfully it would go down because she is a bit of a dramatic person, and I would love to prevent that, but idk. The whole situation is a wreck.

Okay, I'm back from school and this happened (btw I read the replies to my previous post, thank you!).

A and I were at the teacher's table during art class, because we had to put our (rather bad) artwork there. I was standing there for a while, not wanting to put mine there because it looked really bad. Like, really really bad. He noticed me and asked,"Can I see your artwork? It's nice what." Then, I flashed it towards him and he answered,"It sucks, like your face."

He was kinda smiling at the time, but I have no idea if he's doing it just to make me a little mad or that it's his true personal opinion. I'm the type of person that looks good only when their hair's let down (even other people think so), but he's seen me with it let down. I asked my friend about it and she was like,"Don't take him seriously, just treat it like he said some stupid thing." He's kind of a joker, one of the troublemaking boys in the class.

Another thing:
I've caught him maybe looking at me, and he even walked towards me to show me something today.

Honestly, all you can do is tell her. I know rejection seems like a huge scary thing but it really isn't. Plus, what if she says she likes you back? You've been sitting there worrying about trying to tell her that you wouldn't have even knows. And if by some chance she does reject you, so what? There's billions of humans on the earth, and it's not impossible or even that hard to find somebody else in your future who will like you back.
