tomorrow i am going to the movies and dinner after with my crush, and both of our parents. great. cx
school is starting soon, and i want to get his number to stay in contact over the school year. i would say we are already friends, but we are both really shy and awkward, so it makes things harder. when would be a good time to exgange numbers? i don't really want his parents to hear, not because it would be a bad thing to get his number, more of that it would be pretty awkward if they heard. what do you guys think? cx

So, ummm... My crush on this guy, let's call him D.J., might actually go somewhere now. He is the one I use to talk about, two years older than me and taken. I don't know if anyone remembers. They broke up... today. I'm super conflicted because I feel so bad and I'm so sorry for him. At the same time, I'm happy, cuz I stand a chance. A while back, May 8th, he told me that if he wasn't dating his now ex, he would most likely be dating me. I see him tomorrow as well, and I am just so conflicted. I know not to jump right on it, but I don't want to act... weird, different, awkward?

Any opinions would be great...

Should have been more specific. I'm in a show with him this coming week, so I see him for rehearsal.

Anyway, I saw him today because we had group rehearsal and tech from 8 am - 3:30 pm. We hung out the whole time and to be honest, nothing was different. He didn't seem that upset. I mean we did what we always do when we're together. Which includes flirting, holding hands, hugging, and spending the entire time together. We use to do that as just friends, and kinda teasingly. But as I said earlier I'm not good at reading guys. He offered to take me out to dinner before our shows on Thursday and Friday.

Opinions on how he is acting? Any help is much appreciated.

I know this will sound very cliché, but honestly just be natural-- be yourself. There's no shame in being happy when you find out your crush likes you back (since I assume you'd be happy cx). Not to mention, if he likes you, then he probably won't see you as an idiot for being happy.

Anyway, this is my problem.
I want to ask one of my, many, crushes out, but I'm unsure how

My problem in a nut shell, is that I have too many crushes to chose from and can't settle for one
but, I don't wanna be single.

Maybe talk to your school counselor or a therapist about these feelings. Being so desperate not to be single that you will get attached to practically anyone is not normal or healthy.

The thing is, his reason doesn't actually have to be good. It is his reason and you are broken up now. I'm sorry that happened, but I can empathize with your ex because I was in the same situation and now my relationship is long distance and it's a lot harder than it was before. I can understand someone not wanting to go through with that, especially with someone they've only been dating a week. I was seriously considering ending it with my boyfriend for the same reason as your ex and we had been dating over six months.
