My pointers to try and be a little less nervous, is one, try not to be a chatterbox. :> Talking isn't a bad thing, just watch yourself and make sure you're not dominating the conversation. Throw him some questions! Get him talking :D It takes alot of the stress and insecurity off when he takes over.

Also, just try to relax. Push aside the thought of a future relationship with this dude, and appreciate the time you're spending with him as an acquaintance, and possible friend. :)

One week and then I will be packing my bag to get on a plane.
I can't wait to see him.
I get to see the Army base and his platoon-mates and meet his absolutely closest Army-friend in the whole world and see the beautiful upstate New York landscape and go to their Memorial Day cookout and experience summer where 90 is considered really hot.

And I can cook for him as our cabin will actually have a stovetop I think.

Haha, well in a nutshell - I'm in a long distance relationship with a military guy and typically he's been the one to visit me or we even go somewhere together like to visit his parents. This will be my first time purely coming to him.

Try not to think of it as such a big deal, he's just another human being like you, or your friends.

Honestly if I was in your circumstance, I'd try and start with a friendship. Just talk with him, the more you're around him, and the better you get to know each other, the more comfortable you'll be. :>

If you're scared that your feelings for him will be obvious, sometimes that's not a terribly bad thing in itself. He'll probably be flattered if he figures you have a crush on him.

He's tried to talk with you before? (Did he initiate it?) And out of curiosity, how many times have you been in a conversation with him? c:

Thanks for the advice. I think I just need to woman up. Apparently confidence is attractive, or something like that haha. Whenever he talks to me he always initiates it. We used to talk a bit a when we first met and he usually says hi to me every Friday because we do scouts together. We don't have any classes together this year unfortunately for me haha. I always seem to imagine him discovering my crush on him and thinking I'm the creepiest stalker ever D= Idk he seems like a good guy but I think I'll just have to deal with the possibility of rejection. I've waited three years so far and I've had enough so I think I'm just gonna make an attempt at friendship first >~<

from my first real relationship, i'm still moving on and it's been over a year. however, from my first 'fling' relationship, i moved on the next day.

i think it depends, because with j, the guy i had my first real relationship with, he treated me like a princess. but c, my first 'fling' relationship, treated me like just another girl, he didn't really make me feel special in his life.

If he's making the initiative, I'd take that as a good sign :D It probably means he wants to talk to you, and enjoys your company. You don't need to be so hard on yourself, c: do you have any reason to believe he would think you're weird if you admitted your feelings to him?

From what you're saying, it sounds like he's pretty smitten, but I'm sure he didn't mean to cause any ill feelings for you. When he does contact you, what does he talk about? What does he act like around you? Has he introduced this girl to you? pm me if you'd like~

People we grow up around often seem like family. Going on a whim here, he may just see you as a sister, and sort of overlooked the possibility of a future relationship.

Also, just because he's not talking with you as often, may just be because of his infatuation. His feelings will die down after a little bit, and he'll likely start talking with you more often, even if it's just as a friend. :)
