How to catch the pound open!

Most people want to know how to catch the pound open! Well here will be the place to get suggestions from other players! I'll start and someone else can continue on about how you can catch the pound open!

First check to see if the pound's open. If it is adopt the coolest pet you can find before anyone else! If it's not read on!
Then if it says that it will open in half a day check back every 2 hours or so to see if it has a timer on it for opening. If it does then come back a few minutes before that and go through some trades and get all caught up on things! If it says it opened in the last half hour it probably won't open again that day but maybe late tomorrow. Then come back the next day and repeat.
