Hello! This thread is to give people gift ideas! They can be DIY (do it yourself) gift ideas or just good gift ideas and also good stocking stuffer ideas.

Some DIY gift ideas...

☆ Painting on canvas, or even on simple card stock -> water colours ?
☆ Jar of 'friendship' -> Take photos (or even print them) and cut them out and glue them to the interior of a jar. Glue enough inside so you can't see through the jar! I gave one to my best friend and she loves it <3
☆ Home-made journal -> I made one for my mom last Christmas. It looked high quality (with time put into it!) and really pretty/old. You will need: lots of paper (for the inside of the book), cardstock (glue about 10 cardstock together for back and front cover), string/yarn (cut 2 holes into the front & back cover and paper interior and tie together - I tied a triple knot bow in the center or top)
I painted the front and back colour with burgundy paints and put a little note on the first page of the book! <3

I was going to make this thread last night! What a fortunate coincidence.

I need to find Christmas presents for both my parents. If you know of a book of Cauliflower Recipies for my dad that would be amazing. I will add more detail later.

Have you got a pinterest? You could make/buy a nice book or journal then hand write recipes you find online. I'm a cheap skate and would sooner spend time than money but that's a personal preference.

This may sound really lame but,
I have a lot of old fandom junk since I was (and still am) a obsessive fangirl who needs to collect everything
once in a fandom.
But after time passes, I lose a lot of interest and they get hidden in the back of my closet.
So instead of throwing it away, I gift them to other fangirls/fanguys that are
currently in that fandom. It actually makes a great gift. q w q

So, this Christmas I decided to give my friends-and non-friends gifts. I wan't everyone at school and around me to feel loved and such <3
Basically, i'm baking 2 batches of cookies, snickerdoodles and chocolate chips. I also got a few packs of 24-count candy canes. This Christmas, I will go around school, and hand a candy cane + a cookie or two EVERYONE I can find. For my closer friends, I got chocolate and monsters and bows and little things like that.
I just thought I'd share this as I thought it was a fairly good idea and very cheap (7 USD counting the mix and candy canes), and you don't have to tailor to anyone's specific gift wishes. I will also give any leftover cookies to the homeless (if my friend decides to go with me). ^3^

But, anyways, if you don't want to do this, you could always go DIY. Hair bows from duct tape or candy wrappers is a good example of this. I hope I helped even the slightest bit...merry Christmas!

We've printed off some recipes and I'm going to decorate the front of a folder or binder to house them. I don't have pinterest but I will look for inspiration online. Good luck with your time-spending!

This is what I've got my parents so far:

Mum:
Organic dark chocolate (she's a vegan).
A diary with a photo of a garden landscape on it (she's a professional gardener).
Black tights, her request.
Socks with badgers on them, we have a joke about badgers between the two of us.

Dad:
Two types of incense beacuse his room stinks.
Diary with painted farm animals on the cover, it's really gorgeous!
An axe, we lost ours.

I bought these but there's not much point saying where as they were mostly at independent stores.
