So I got out this kit that's been laying around forever. For the most part, it was common sense (trace pattern onto fabric. Put fabric between rings. Sew. cx) But there are just a few things that I have questions about.
1. How do you thread the needle? Do I put it through the eye then hold both ends of the thread (putting the needle in the middle) and tie it, so it's doubled over, or do I thread it and tie it differently? (my book was really confusing about that
)2. For those creative minds... I'm really too lazy to finish a whole handkerchief. I don't have enough time to finish like 5 by Christmas, either :3 But I've started one. What can I do to use just a little bit of this? It's in the middle, too ;n; I can probably stitch a little pattern around the cat that I'm making now and cut it out nicely, but... I don't know what to put it on or what it could be used for.
